Electric Tiller... Yup !
Got this on a special one day sale for under $100 bucks, and couldn't pass it up. Looked at reviews and watched Youtube videos of the item, and it looked legit. Received it and didn't take long to assemble it. It's got a transport mode (wheels down) and use mode (guide spike down). It's so lightweight, I just leave it in use mode and carry it to and from the garden. For it's size it works GREAT! Last year I rented a gas powered tiller, and it was a LOT of work to use. It was so heavy, and I really had to hold onto it, as it was working. With this small unit, just pull and push it forward and backward and let it work the dirt. It does an amazing job, and I don't have to worry about fuel, oil changes, etc.... (nor fuel going bad after it sits for a year, till next season!). Make sure you wear gloves, and safety glasses.... and boots, otherwise you'll get dirt in your tennis shoes (ha ha). Oh, and always be aware of where your power cord is, so you don't accidentally 'till' it!

Inexpensive and lightweight..... yet powerful.
I removed an above-ground pool and decided to renew my entire lawn in the back yard. Got some sod estimates, but nobody tilled the soil. They would just scrape off the old grass, add some topsoil, then sod. All the sod farms around where I live use straight Kentucky Blue but it doesn't perform well in shady spots. I plan to use a good mix of seed in the spring and wanted to do it right and till the ground well first. This little tiller does a great job. Renting a big tiller was not possible since I only have a car, plus you pay by the hour. This machine is mine, and I can use it whenever the weather's right and I have the time. After scraping off most of the dead grass initially, I've found that by letting it chew in, then pulling it back a foot or so works well for me. Tilling about 4 inches deep is sufficient. I remove large and small roots close to the surface, but if they are too big and 2-3 inches deep they stay right there and I go around them. Going to add lots of peat and till that in, then add a layer of topsoil. It's fall now and too late to plant grass seed, but come spring I will be ready with a great seed bed.

Only Wish I Purchased It Sooner!
I was so careful in making this purchase. I thought what about having a gardener or landscaper come in to just rototiller what I wanted done--some 600 square feet of yard that I wanted to put new sod down. That would cost me $200. The rototiller cost me less, so I took a plunge. I thought I might be able to use it for my soon-to-be vegetable garden as well, so I thought having the equipment is better than having someone do it for me. I read all the reviews and picked the rototiller that seemed to work the best for those who used it. Boy, I was happily delighted that I did. It is a great little tool. I'm female, 65 years old and I was able to handle it. It did a beautiful job. I waited for a rain, then gave it another 2 days to dry out some. It was great! I rototilled once, then added my planting mixture and rototilled again. Some people said not to get a rototiller that had its wheels behind the tines. It wasn't a problem. Easily was able to pull it back, instead of always forward and able to get a good deep till. All I must say, don't delay in purchasing this rototiller. It was wonderful and easy to use -- only wish that I had bought it earlier for other jobs in the garden.

One of our better purchases lately!
When we opened the box we were a little leary as the wheels are plastic and the handles didn't seem like they would be very strong. There wasn't much to assembling, that was pretty easy. I enjoy the ease of it being electric, so easy to start and run. Our ground is very hard but we soaked it the night before tilling the area. This tiller just cuts right through it. When it comes to areas with heavy roots it takes a little bit for the tiller to get through it but still does not seem to be much work for this tiller. Myself and my wife both take turns using it, it is that easy to use and we are both sixty-something! This has been a great investment for us, we are really enjoy using it!

Small tiller has big power
We wanted a smaller tiller as we have raised vegetable beds and the big tillers just don't minuver well in these smaller beds. We have used this tiller to get our rose beds, garden and canna beds all ready for Spring. It has done a great job even used it in our clay soil to till in compost. Great little worker,

Great Buy
Bought it to till my garden but because of the pandemic it was delayed and did it by hand and planted my seeds and plants. Haven't used it yet. Price was good. Will have a better rating when I use it in the fall and next spring.

Mighty green machine.
This tiller worked great. It cut through sod and some very hard dry ground fairly easily. It had a tendency to bounce up at times, but worked better then I expected.
