Met all my expectations and even cut through roots that I thought would need to be removed by hand. I was concerned with the power rating before my purchase, but it performed great and never stalled or stopped during use. Highly recommended for planters and small areas. Doug

Tiller Froze-up - Seized after using 4 times
I'm mid 60's & wanted lightweight tiller for flowers. I only use every 1-2 years. I did'n't use last year. Tried this year & is sort-of worked. Seized up but I thought maybe the dirt was too hard. Tried another day & it was completely frozen. If I light banged it on the ground it would turn about 1 second, then stop again.

Goo but light duty only
I have clay soil that often forms semi-hard to hard clumps which will jam the tiller if larger than 2 inches, so I wore out the clutch in one year. However, I knew that it was light duty going in so I don't blame the tool. Otherwise, it's a good tool if the soil is not hard. In the narrow spaces in my rock-lined beds, it's great, especially if you do a pass with the fork first (that was sometimes needed even with my Troybilt Pony). If I can't replace the clutch, I'll buy another.

Happy Gardening
Great little cultivator. Works well for small jobs

easy to handle
Easy to use but I found you have to go over the dirt many times to get it loose. It is exactly the machine I need to edge the vegetable garden and raspberries.

cost effective tiny tiller
Its a decent little tiller. It won't get through rock solid dirt and probably wouldn't want to do an entire large garden spring or fall prep but it is great for running between rows or around plants to keep up with maintenance weeding. I hate weeding and will quickly let the garden get overrun but this really helped out so for the cost I think it was a great purchase. Next season I plan to use it after the large heavy duty gas power tiller we also have to dig my rows because it will run a nice little trench i think will be perfect depth for seeds. It would also probably be great for smaller garden beds to work in potting soil or fertilizer

Handy, easy-to-operate machine for my tightly spaced gardens. Opened it up, read instructions, and I was churning the compact soil in my gardens that afternoon. Plants are already responding, now that they can breathe!
