No, the washer does not have a suction pump. It depends on water pressure in the fill hose to deliver the water to the pressure washer.

not sure what your asking but one pressure washer uses electric other uses a battery so you can take it anywhere there is no electricity -reason i bought it with battery pack is because i have cabin up north off the grid i use it to wash windows siding etc,it can be used to wash your boat right from the water just dip the bucket anywhere you can get water drop in holder turn on and start to wash -comes with different spray nozzles,-i used it on my home deck and was surprised at the pressure i got from it it took off the old stain so i could restain it ,it cleans very well ,i just take along a hose if i need to refill or another bucket of water-5 gal,it took 3 -5gal buckets to do a lg deck-16x14--, and awning the lg too-,battery last 45 min to 1 hr i use it 45 min then switch to another battery while charging the first one----as for your preference ,you can get more psi on bigger units ,electric i hate the cord dragging along,combo not bad but i,ve got to say i like this unit,its not loud like other pressure washers plus you can buy so many more attachments to use with it-just look under sun-joe to see them--i hope this has help you --as for pressure it works great on anything -wood dirt comes right off fast ==good luck need more info just e-mail me

Yep it comes with the battery which is a 5.0 AH battery. Lasts about a half hour running the pressure washer on its highest pressure washer setting. This thing really works great. I'm going to be using it a lot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The concept of a battery powered power washer is a great concept but in all reality it falls a bit short in my opinion. Nevertheless it's a great start and could definitely be improved upon. The assembly was simple and it took about 10 minutes from unboxing to fully assembled product. The washer included a battery and a charger. The battery lasts for about 20 minutes or so based on how much pressure (which is adjustable) you want. So once you are done with battery, you wait till it charges unless you keep a spare. The hose is quite long and is well built. You can use four different kind of nozzles that are included with it. It also has a soap attachment which can be used if needed. The supplied bucket can be used for places where you can't run a hose to attach to the unit (I personally didn't use the bucket). I liked the fact that the washer is compact and is totally cordless but the pressure that you get is not that great. Overall, you may use this product for small jobs but for anything where you want more pressure and a continuous operation, look elsewhere.

Seems like a really great product (and could be), but found a couple of challenges that make me regret the purchase based on it's very high cost. Most critical - the battery life is terrible. It takes over 3 hours to charge and the first 2 charge ran for 3.5 hours on full power almost continuous use. The 2nd charge ran for 60 minutes. The 3rd charge for 30 minutes. Also, right out of the box it failed to run properly - turns out it commonly gets 'plugged' during shipping. Phone support was great though - the quick fix was to hook it up to the garden hose to use forced pressure to open up the plug. Problem is I didn't have a garden hose at that site (thus the whole reason for buying the unit). Great concept and runs well for the pressure I was looking for, but over-priced for very lousy battery.

As proof of impartiality, just click on my nickname and see the average of the ratings I have given over 200 reviews to date. ==== First impressions ==== Seems lightweight for a serious pressure washer and that is because it is not a serious pressure washer. Everything was packaged properly. ==== Assembly ==== Very easy and almost so intuitive that no manual instructions are needed. Open the box, separate the parts. Attach the bucket to the pump assembly. Attach the hose to the motor assembly and wand, Attach the chosen nozzle to the wand.. ==== Operation ==== This is a very low pressure tool. It only generates about 1100 psi compared to about 1500-2500 psi for most electric line operated washers and 2500-4500 psi for most gasoline motor powered washers. This can only be used for very light work. Don't let anyone fool you about this. This tool is ONLY for convenience and not performance; you can get an electric washer for half the price and twice the pressure. I tried to use this tool to remove paint from the bottom of a boat and it was completely useless even with the sharpest nozzle attached. A gas engine powered pressure washer rated at 2700 psi and costing about the same as this one did the job perfectly. All this being said, it did an acceptable job at light tasks. In my video you can see it being used to remove a layer of mold/mildew from an old concrete block pillar and it did perform ok. The " TSS (Total Stop System) - automatically shuts off the pump when trigger is not engaged to save energy and prolong pump life " feature did not work, so the pump motor kept running even while not spraying. You can see that in my video. There were no noticeable leaks or kinks in the hose or handle, the internal water tank was full, and the inlet filter was clean, This is a clear defect. The holders for the nozzle on the tank do not hold the nozzles securely and one fell off while in operation. I had to search for it in the grass. I did not use the included soap dispenser or the hose adapter. The instructions say to not fill the water tank while it is attached to the base unit, but I can't see why removing it would be necessary. Nevertheless, I did comply and that made the job that much more difficult. ==== Summary ==== Use only for very light work and only for the convenience of using no water supply hose, electric line cord, or gasoline. Some defects were found. Overpriced for the performance level. Cannot recommend generally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! At 74 my main purpose was to clean my husband's cemetery monument. Of course, they do not have electricity or water (other than a hand pump) at the cemetery so I needed something with a battery (did not want to take a generator or haul fuel) and something to contain water which is exactly what I got. Also, I wanted something I could do on my own. It worked so well that my brother used it to clean the north side of his house. So it was a win-win purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my Sun Joe SPX6000C-XR iON This was exactly what I was looking for when I was searching the internet for a "cordless" pressure washer! I used it to wash our cars, and I loved it so much, I bought another one! Does a fantastic job, and there's no need to run a water hose or electrical cord to trip over. The battery was still strong after washing 2 cars and a truck, and even the walkway to the front door. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, as this product has performed way beyond my expectations. KUDOS to the innovators of this product!

We noticed some oil had run out on our porch, wondered where it came from. The second time he used it he cleaned and put back on the porch to dry, oil again. Who do we need to do!
