Short Life
We bought this product back in late January 2021, used it for a couple months until spring. We then just recently put it back on the bed to use it again for fall/winter. It worked for only a few weeks before the right side completely stopped working. The light turns on, but the heat does not. We've checked the connections with no change in performance.

We are sorry to hear that your heated throw is not working properly. That is not the experience that we want you to have. We know how important the bedding product is with you since winter is just around the corner. No worries, we are here to help. If your bedding’s controllers are having issues or if your heated throw is not getting warm enough, it could be because the unit is not getting enough power or there’s an internal error found. A blanket, mattress pad or heated throw will not heat for the following reasons: 1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord and plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly. 3. The 10 hour auto-off activated (some models) 4. Temperature control was not turned to the highest setting and adjusted for personal comfort. 5. Dual control blanket controls are operating on the wrong sides. 6. Make sure control isn't in the off position. Also check if there's physical damage on its cord. If there's none, please try to perform the troubleshooting steps below in case your bedding is still turning on. 1. Turn the blanket control to the ""Off"" position and unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. Let it rest for 2 minutes. 2. Check the bedding product plug connection that directly plugs into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete. 3. Hold the power button down and re-insert the power cord back into a wall outlet at the same time. 4. Turn control to “HI” and wait 5-7 minutes. If the steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset.     Great Features
    This is our third Dual Control Matteress Pad which we rave about besides enjoying it. At the end of the last winter we stored the same and when we reinstalled it last week to use it as the weather sure is changing fast the two controls just blink, attempted unplugging and replugging, one at time and both together with no success

      Not a good value
      I bought this less than a year ago. I had problems with blinking lights on one controller but I would unplug and plug it back in and that seemed to reset until a few weeks ago when it stopped working. I have heat on one side and not the other and I have tried everything, including unplugging it directly from the mattress and leaving it unplugged directly from the surge protector. Not a good return on my investment at all.

        Poor Continuing Controller Problem
        This heated mattress pad (king) was purchased in late March 2021 to replace another brand that had quit heating after 10 years. Put on mattress 5/3/2021 for 1st time - controller will only blink even after being unplugged from wall and pad itself; tried moving to another wall plug. This seems to be a continuing problem with Sunbeam. Only dual control mattress pad I've owned that used only 1 wall and mattress plug: very odd from such a large company, could this be part of the problem with all the blinking controls. Just provide true dual controls for queen, king, and cal. king sizes.

The flashing control is caused by the cord not tightly connected to the pad. Kindly make sure that the connection is not loose and not plugged into an extension wire to prevent the control from flashing.
          Problems from the start!
          From the very first night that we put the mattress pad on the bed, we were having the same issues that many others have written about. The heat level was not all that great, and the controls wouldn't turn off with the on/off button and continued to flash unless the power cord was unplugged. I tried all the suggestions I could find from unplugging the mattress from the bed & outlet to start the process over again to trying in two different wall outlets instead of to a power strip. None of those things helped. Now I have it totally disconnected from use. What do I do now? The product has barely been used, it is paid for, and it is not working.

            Won't stop blinking
            I just opened my box 10 minutes ago 1 side gets hot the other side keeps blinking and doesn't get hot.

              Quit working after 2 weeks. Lights blinking
              We’ve had Sunbeam heated mattress pads for many years for several beds. Recently bought this one for our son’s queen bed for when he came home from college. It worked well for about a week then the lights on both controllers started blinking and no heat developed. Only way to stop blinking was to unplug the unit. Tried unplugging and reconnecting on both ends but nothing has helped this. My father worked for Sunbeam for 40 years and we have always used their appliances and products for their quality and dependability. I am very disappointed with this problem as I see others have had similar experience.

                No Instructions — Won’t Heat.
                There are no instructions included with the product. For example, which controller goes on which side? What does in mean when the on/off button blinks? Is thus good or bad? I turned one side to “10” for over 30 minutes. So far, no heat either side. What do you do whfn it doesn’t heat? How can you sell a product with no use instructions?

                  It won’t heat
                  I just purchased this and placed it on my queen size bed. It won’t heat and the on off button won’t stop blinking!

There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying "FF, F1, or F2": 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. To fix this problem, do the following to reset your product: 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord) 3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord) 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet. If these troubleshooting tips are not successful, please contact us back by calling 1-800-892-7684.
                    Didn’t work straight out of the box
                    Bought Matress pad on line - arrived yesterday - put it on bed last night. Plugged it it in and it doesn’t heat up. The controllers continually flash, have unplugged them several times and they still flash.
