Yes, the product can be used for seating. It can accommodate up to approximately 150 lbs.
How do you take apart the box?
The Deck Box can be taken apart by following the assembly instructions in reverse .
The number one reason you would want a box this size would be to store a spare propane tank for your grill - yet it seems to be about an inch too short to fit one. Am I wrong or are the desigers of this box just not too bright?

You're right. A propane tank is about 1" higher than the inside of this box. I also wanted to get it to store my tank but it won't work. And yes, the designers messed this one up IF you want to put a tank in it. Bugs me because i like the box.

Can this box hold spool cleaner and hose
We keep two hoses and ours ( one standard and one flexi) with no problem. Not sure what a spool cleaner is.
The interior dimensions are 20-1/2 in. W x 15-1/2 in. D x 17 in. H. So, as long as your items are smaller than that, then yes.
How many 4 inches much coushions can it hold
the 3 sided lip is only about an inch deep.
Is the resin that it is made of safe for the environment? I would be using it for composting.
