Tremont 8 ft. 4-1/2 in. x 10 ft. 2-1/4 in. Resin Storage Shed

I am 71 years old 5 feet 5 inches tall.. The day I picked up the shed I did all the prep work took about hr and half.. Next day I assembled the shed by myself.. Took me about 5 hrs.. Directions were great and well organized.. Shed was put on cement pad.. All parts lined up.. If I can do it alone at my age should be no problem for others... Just follow the directions.. Looks great and my Goldwing Trike fits in it.

Purchased a smaller shed, BMS6510 in 2015 and by 2018, the corners cracked and let go. Suncast sent me four replacement corners which again in 2013 cracked and let go. They would not replace the corners and responded "Unfortunately, a proper foundation as described in the assembly manual is requirement per the terms of our warranty". The shed is sitting on a solid wood deck.

I didn’t put it together I had someone put it together for me. I love the space inside it fits a adult 3 wheeler bike, a adult 2 wheeler bike, lawnmower, whipper snipper, large chairs, garbage can and plenty of room to move around.. it’s much larger inside than it looks.

I purchased this shed on 2/17/2019, and now (actually) over a year ago, the corners of the shed are splitting and leaving a big gap. After only a couple of years, and the shed is useless. I am very disappointed because not only of the cost but also the effort and time spent putting this shed together. Will never buy Suncast sheds anymore.

The shed was great but you replacement skylights every 5 years or so from deterioration . The company sent me the wrong gaskets and I can’t get the new skylights to screw down.

Easy to put together and I can store a lot in this shed, more than I expected. Make sure of doing a good solid floor as described in the instructions. The shed has been recently installed and has not went through a winter yet, but I feel it will be good as long as I make sure not too much snow build up on its roof.

We read hundreds of reviews, watched a dozen videos and still bought this shed. Delivered on time, 2 huge boxes on pallets. We build our shed on a foundation of paving stones. Build was easy except 1 window on the front door just refused to fit. The pre-drilled holes on the plastic window did not line up with the spots on the resin frame. 2 hours wasted, we will have to seal with caulking. Besides that, everything came in the boxes. Instructions were clear. Every step had its own little baggy of hardware. Definitely need 2 people, 3 would have been best. Followed the steps in the instruction, easy peasy.

I would recommend first watching some YouTube videos about developing a game plan to install this shed. People have helpful YouTube videos about building this exact shed. Once I opened the box and laid out all of the pieces on the grass, I first started by installing all of the components for the doors, roof windows and joists/trusses for the roof support. This allowed me to have enough done by myself before my help arrived to build the rest of the shed. I then had the help of 2 other people for the install once the prep work was done. Once the prep work was done, it took us about 3 hours to build the shed. Prep work: 2-3 hours Build shed: 2-3 hours Shed base: 3-4 hours I built a wood base for my shed with 2’x8’x12’ (quantity 6) with concrete deck blocks for support. I then used 3/4” plywood on top. Make sure all of the lumber is pressure treated. Once the base was built, I painted it with an exterior paint. I wanted to have a wood platform as opposed to a gravel base to make sure that the shed was safely secured to it. I bought 8-10 lag screws with washers to anchor the shed floor to the platform. Overall, I am very pleased with the sheds size and quality. It is definitely a 2-3 person job to assemble the shed.

I would’ve steered clear of this had I known it was HDPE (high density polyethylene). Think little tikes and milk cartons, that’s HDPE. It’s just far too flimsy for something structural like a shed. Screws easily strip out the HDPE. There are gaps, cracks and daylight showing through in dozens of areas. You push on the back wall and the whole structure moves like a jello mold. The doors don’t close without pushing up on the headed above the. Perfectly level and built on a super sturdy 2x6 sub floor with 3/4” plywood.
