My all time favorite adventuring hat!
I have worn my Sunday Afternoon Beach hat on every ocean paddle and hike and trip for the past 5 years! It is maybe my favorite gear! I especially love how you can shape the brim, with one hand in an instant, to whatever you need at any moment to keep the sun out of your eyes yet still see clearly. I love the drawstring cord so that it stays put in the wind! After 5 years of rough conditions it still looks like new too! I just rinse the salt water off and Let it dry. Everyone compliments me on it too- so it’s not only super helpful in protecting my eyes and face, it’s flattering as well! Win win! I have several other sun hats and never wear them. This hat is THE BEST EVER! In fact, I came to this site to order another just in case knowing I’d be lost without it and thought I’d let you all know THIS IS THE HAT YOU WANT!

Adorable red hat for summer
Very cute hat! It is lightweight and flexible. I have worn it several times to protect my head from the hot sun. I love the adjustable chin strap. I will be buying from here again.

Good Protection and More
This hat will definitely protect you from the sun but it is pretty stylish too. First time I wore it I was complimented. I bought the Turquoise. The color is very vibrant, which pleases me. I bought the small/medium but the label reads medium. It still works because the brim tightness can be adjusted and it is comfortable. The material is rigid enough to hold shape. I have not packed it yet so that will be an important criteria in my satisfaction. I have smushed it and it rebounds nicely. I am happy with my purchase.

THE Perfect Sun Hat!
What else can I say!! So very pleased with my new sun hat! The color is vivid & goes with everything! I am especially thrilled with the sturdy chin slide to keep my hat on! I had to add one to an older sun hat from y’all. So to find it already there was a deal cincher!! I recommend your hats to all!! Thanks again for great products made in the USA!!

Nice hat that actually provides sun protection
I have two of these hats in black, which is no longer sold, unfortunately. I love the brim width and this hat, which is about the minimum needed for actual sun protection (and the maximum that is somewhat easy to tolerate on the go). With a chinstrap to keep it on in the wind, you're all set. The hat is super flattering and versatile, in my opinion--it can be "dressed up" in addition to being great for the beach or outdoors. I do wish this hat had a nicer, soft wicking sweatband instead of the plain ribbon. I also very much wish it was sold in more neutral colors besides these just these bright ones and navy. If it was available in tan, brown, bone (another discontinued color), khaki, olive, etc., I would buy again and again. I keep checking back, but I guess it won't ever happen. Oh well.
