Q:Your website, printed piece attached to the cord, sticker on plastic base and back of metal cover of clamp light says use a maximum 150 watt bulb. Why does the clear label 300-23A inside the metal round cover say to only use a 100 watt bulb?

A:Â It needs something sticking out to clamp on to. Opening a door or using a bookshelf have worked well for me in the past depending on what/where you need to light.

Clamping on the weak side. Better gripping capability needed. It holds, but only on rough or textured surfaces. Slowly creeps off smooth surface if smooth and there is minor vibration.

Light weight but seems sturdy, so that's good I suppose. Clamp is stiff, but will not come loose easily. It *will* slide off of vinyl or synthetic material,so should be attached to metal or wood.

i know where everyone’s reflective cone went....
Because i got two. Anyway, the light is just ok. The swivel joint isnt really a joint, its just a knurled knob sandwiched between the clamp. Pretty cheesy design. On another note: Home Depot needs to get its act together. My order for in store pickup was split into multiple pieces. One is in a locker, one shipped to my house, and two were in store pickups spaced more thn six days apart, meaning i had to physically go to the store three times or a single order. This is absurd and will drive customers elsewhere.

I ordered this item TWICE and both times, the reflective cone was not included. When I contacted Home Depot customer service (TWICE), neither agent was able to tell me how to order the fixture with the cone, or even the cone by itself. Because of this negative experience, I will avoid shopping at Home Depot whenever there is an alternative.
