No More Sunseeker
Found this attachment on sale and thought it was a good deal. Fell apart on the first limb cut, just had to laugh. Will stick with ryobi moving forward.

Low quality but good for cutting thick branches over 3 inches. For thinner branches, the cut is not smooth as those 7" bar Trimmerplus I had. The saw has a tendency to wobble and vibrate because of torque imbalance in use. Received two packages of imcomplete parts instead of an assembled saw. It was confusing at Homedepot pickup. No wonder it has a low price.

For less than $50, it is a great bargain. I used the Ryobi 2 cycle 125cc to power this Sunseeker chainsaw attachment. In my first tried, the Ryobi could not spin the attachment and the engine die. After a few minutes of trying, I realized that I need to adjust the carburator and after opened it a 1/4 turn, it ran like a champ. Thing I like: 1) So far it cut great; no problem at all cutting tree over 7 inches in diameter. 2) The articulating function work well too. 3) The bar oil unit lubricated the chain very well without spraying oil everywhere. Thing I don't like: 1) It doesn't come with the extension section; so you are limited to about 7-8 feet of reaching. 2) the drive rod (shaft) has the tendency of falling out of the unit (I give it a 4 stars because of this). For the price, it is a great saw attachment.

Product came without any company markings, manual or warranty information. Nice product but the center shaft slide out unlike any of the Ryobi expandit attachments I have. I searched for a website to get some answers and found none. What legitimate company does not have a website??Even the parts list on the Home Depot site had no contact information. I called HD customer service who gave me a phone number. I called and got a personal greeting from a guy name Ryan again no company. As a former National Sales Manager, Product Manager, and Operations Manager from the manufacturing sector I can tell you that they had a booth at the National Hardware Show, it's imported and branded by somebody. I returned to HD. Nicely engineered, questionable quality and company, POORLY MARKETED.
