I used several of these panels with the 2" woodtite fasteners and coated the threads with DAP Silicone Max 10.1 oz. Clear Premium Exterior/Interior Window, Door and Siding Silicone Sealant attached with Suntuf 24 in. Horizontal Wood Closure Strips (5-Pack).
Remember to drill holes into these wood Closure strips before installing fasteners or they will split. Just use a bit a little smaller than the fastener.
Someone else on here suggested the Silicone Sealant for the fastener threads and I took the advise and glad I did. Very few leaks with I have been able to seal up.

Used to deflect condensate from an a.c. on the 4th floor and send the water into a planter. A waft of air, though, can send the drops to either side of the plastic canopy (it's a long way up). Idea is good. Material is good. But variety of conditions was not accounted for.

needed to both storm proof and burglar proof garage side steel/glass door while retaining day light for laundry illumination. Solution was steel grill on outside (see prior review) and this clear panel on inside. Since existing steel door is non standard size the only other option is a very expensive total frame replacement ($1000+) with a solid storm door and loss of illumination. see photos.Total cost for this project $80. PS have existing cat 5 code certified clear panels for 10 min hurricane bolt-on.

We had a 6 foot privacy fence put up in our backyard. Unfortunately, the fence still was not tall enough. Because of the vinyl material the fence is made from, we could not attach anything directly onto the fence. Well, we purchased several of these Suntuf Roofing Panels in white and attached them to some posts that we bought from an iron works business. We placed that directly in front of the vinyl fence, and now we have plenty of privacy!
