Q:How are these installed, I mean you still need the plastic ones do these go next to those, on top of those?

A: They are just pressed in under the corrugated panels to seal up the ends from dust, bugs, etc. They are just held in by friction unless you decide to glue them in place with calking.

A: Hello ELJames, Since we sell larger panels this horizontal foam closure strips can be used to cover those dimensions as well as smaller ones. They are easy to cut down to the size you need, if your panels are not as long as one foam closure strip.

A: As opposed to the RIGID wood or plastic closure strips, these flexible FOAM counterparts are used with the rigid version. They should never take the place of the rigid strips. Foam strips are primarily used for FLASHING especially towards the ends of a roofing application like when plastic roofing panels are attached to one side of a home or building. Coupled with double-sided BUTYL tape for attachment, these foam strips helps ensure rain water does not seep up and around where they are not welcome.

A: No you don't glue it. You attach with double sided buttle tape then screw in after panels are on top

These foam pieces do NOT go with the thicker SUNSKY...

These foam pieces do NOT go with the thicker SUNSKY panels, even though HD shows them as being an accessory to Sunsky. They ONLY go with Suntuf. Had to return them.
