A:  They worked very well with the matching polycarbonate panels I bought to cover the roof. Very happy with both.

A:  Not at all. It only lines up with the SunTuf Poly sheets (not the rounded ones, only the rhombus style /````\__/````\__/ panels made by SunTuf.

A:  You could try installing it this way, however, if installed upside down, the UV protected side would not be facing the sun.

A:  yes, they can be used for that job they are somehow flexibles

I used this after adding an addition to my homemade shed. ItsIt like it's going to hold up well and is easy to work with. It blends in really well because it is clear so it was a perfect choice because I couldn't get in the matching green.

It was a long overdue project to build a 14 x 12 ft Pergola over our hot tub. The tub has only been in place for 14 years. Before I built the Pergola, I did a lot of research on the clear panel roofing, the flashing, horizontal plastic pieces that go on the Perlins and the universal side closure pieces. The instructional videos on-line and the one showing the rigidity of the product by throwing a ball, hitting a golf ball and hitting a sledge on the product really showed me how durable the product was and kind of sold me. After the initial Pergola was built, I found 12' clear sheets of the Suntuf roofing at one of our local Home Depots. I wanted to do this project with no seams and it was the way to go. I ordered the wall connector flashing for the back of the garage where the pergola met the wall. I also ordered the horizontal and universal plastic clips for the valleys and sides. These really worked great. One other thing I did was to spray the expandable foam in a can on the edges in the back, so no wasps or other bees will have a way in later to make a nest. If you look at the picture of the flashing, you can see in the corner the gray foam under the corners. Again, this was an addition I thought of, nothing that was suggested by the instructions or video offered by Home Depot. We have had the pergola in place for about 3 weeks now and the water runs right off nicely and we love it over the tub to keep the leaves off and eventually the snow. The only things that I don't like about this product, it is not easy to find all the pieces I needed at our local Home Depots. Two stores carry the product, but neither one had all the pieces in stock. Some of the pieces were so dirty, clear would be considered gray with all the dust on the products. I was thankful that one store had the 12 ft roofing in stock, so again I could do my project with no horizontal seams. Again due to the supply of parts at our local Home Depot, I ordered most of the parts on-line. The great thing to about this product, is if you spent $45, it was free shipping to your home. This was a nice convenience. Seeing the directions and videos on-line, I figured out a slope factor of 10 degrees and we have had rain and the water runs right off as slick as a good coat of wax on your car. My wife now thinks I need to put a gutter at the end of the roof to catch the water. Never a dull moment at home with projects. Looks like it might be another run to Home Depot to get a 16 ft length of aluminum gutter? I'll be honest, this product was great and easy to work with. If I had another Pergola to build or another light roofing project that needed daylight to show thru, I would use this product again without any hesitation. Thank you Home Depot ! Jay

              Good flashing solution
It's only been a month since installing - time will tell whether this product (and the rest of the Suntuf system) is up to the task of dealing with Maine's climate. Installation was a breeze. So far 5 stars.

              Drip edge
I’m actually using it as a drip edge into a gutter. It works good for that. I wish it had the curved ridges but the angular one fit under the curved ridges good too.

Suntuf is a. Great product! Very pliable, but durable for plastic. Pretty expensive though, but an overall value because it does not such a robust frame as other kinds of roofing material. .

Worked very well. DId have to cut off what is possibly a drtp edge in order to slide under the existing roof flashing. Not a big deal.

I have to admit this did not work out exactly as expected. It is evidently designed for new construction, but I was replacing the panels on an existing porch cover. The flashing should be installed under a clapboard, but that only works if the cover lines up with the clapboard. Mine didn’t. As can be seen in the image, there is no gap between the part of the flashing that goes under the clapboard and the part of the flashing that covers the panels. Fortunately, the back part of the flashing can be placed on the outside of the clapboard. It is springy enough that it presses tightly against the clapboard. It should work.
