Complaints about the product being runny, especially on vertical surfaces, is unfortunate. It is a liquid and needs to be handled carefully for a proper repair. The pointed cap is helpful in opening the tube, but the tube should be held gently or else the force applied while holding it will make the fluid ooze out. Got the best result in applying the super glue by using an artist's fine tipped paint brush; other products that have a built-in brush in the cap I have found useless because the brushes holds too much product and the brushes are too large for small, delicate applications. The fine tipped paint brush is ideal for applying very small amounts of products to very small areas. As the product instructions recommend, applying small amounts in thin coats is best, particularly for vertical surfaces (which was the case for me). As such, there were no runs or drips at all. For deep chips, several thin coats worked best. I used a fresh razor blade to gently "trim" the dried super glue (after 24 hours) to evenly match the surrounding porcelian surface around the chipped area. Being aggressive with the razor will ruin the result. Used acetone to wipe away irregularities with the super glue and then reapplied more glue with the brush. Final results turned out excellent in repairing the chip. Very difficult finding the repair. Color match can vary depending on how white (old) the appliance to be repaired is. My porcelain sink is old, but the color match was very respectable. Have already cleaned the sink with a common cleaning product, and the super glue porcelain repair has not failed, been damaged, or changed color. Definitely would recommend to a friend, and would use again myself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zero stars I spend SO much time painting product on a long crack in our sink. The color was WAY whiter, but who cares when i just need a bandaid until i figure out what $30 ACTUAL porcelain fix to buy. But this isn't even bandaid worthy. It totally lifted the first time my husband ran the water to do the dishes. Just junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stuff but it may take a little time to get the hang of it Be sure to shake the tube well before taking the lid off. The first time I tried to use this, I just got a big squirt of glue and solvent with no white in it. I had a tub with five small chips in it. The previous owner covered them with white caulk, and somehow that lasted more than five years. This stuff will be a better repair, though. Dab a little bit into the chip and quickly wipe away the excess. Some of my repairs blended in well with no effort, and some looked like my four-year-old did it. Just wait 10 minutes and take some nail polish remover to the rough spots when they happen. I had one large chip that did require multiple applications. I found it's better to build it up with several small applications than to glom too much on and make a bigger mess. If you dab just a little into the chip, it seems to do a reasonably good job of leveling itself. As others have said, this stuff is noxious, so turn the bathroom fan on while you're using it. Overall I'm happy. A single tube of this stuff costs about $5, which is a lot cheaper than getting a tub re-glazed or replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use, looks fine. This white porcelain repair is easy to apply and so far seems durable. I repaired two good size chips in the bath tub. First I cleaned it very thoroughly then let it dry overnight. followed instructions and puncture the seal in the tube with the handy point built into the cap. Learned that it is important to reapply the cap and shake the tube after puncturing it because the contents have separated while sitting in my tool box. The fluid comes out rather thin and watery, so apply carefully. I applied in two thin applications. You may notice from the photo that the liquid is pure white and the tub is not quite so white. Still, white is much better than black steel showing through the chips.

Used Super Glue Porcelain Repair to repair chip on porcelain steel bath tub. The item is very runny, and applies like paint and does not adhere to the repair surface very well. This is effectively white lacquer paint. Apply your $5 cost of the product and put it towards something better. If you are trying to repair a vertical surface, the viscosity of this product will run and will not perform very well, again, more like a runny white paint.

This is similar to white paper fluid, is very runny so cannot fill cracks on the side of anything as it just drips off. Did not dry hard at all, was soft to te htouch still after 24 hrs,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for small chips This is a good product for small chips, I tried to do a very large scrape on a dryer. It looked messy, because I am not a qualified repair person of porcelain. I made a mess of the repair and ended up cleaning it off the dryer. I did a small chip in the bathtub and it turned out pretty good. We just had our tub reserficed so the brite white matched perfectly. If I had a tub that was 40 or 50 years old, it might have looded different. It is easy to use and easy to clean off. Follow the directions and you should be ok. Do not attempt to do a large area, leave that to the professionals. Trust me. LOL
