The WEN 2,000-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 2000 surge watts and 1700 rated watts of power. Our 79cc 4-stroke OHV engine operates at an extremely quiet 51 decibels at quarter load, quieter than a window air conditioner or the average conversation. The WEN 2000W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight design makes for easy portability while the ultra-efficient one-gallon tank provides over 7 hours of half-load run time. The panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V 14A NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V 8.3A DC receptacle and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel. Need more energy? AnswersI run one fridge and one freezer continuously, and the "Econo mode" doesn't need much speed to do so. There is ample available current to additionally brew my coffee as well. That's about maxed though. So probably lots of flashlights.

AnswersThat will depend on the A/C electrical requirements. It has stickers/plates or documentation on both the Rpod and the A/C unit. If the watts required are under 1700, it will likely run it. Also, if the a/c unit has a standard 110v cord, it will likely run it. If it gives you amps, not watts, the formula is "volts X amps = watts"

AnswersProbably. Check the power requirements of the specific unit you want to run to know for sure. 1700 watts at 110v = 15.45 amps Long or skinny cords can interfere with your available amperage at the plug.

Waited quite some time before attempting to start this generator. Studied the operation manual several times before the “big day”. Every thing went according to the instructions and ran great. This unit will run a box fan set on high while in the “power saving” mode, Purring on low rpm’s, no problem. On full run mode, however, it WILL fault out when trying to start a 12” radial-arm saw. (I had to try it out). Pushing the reset button got it up to full peak output, per the instructions. It wasn’t 3 or 4 days later that we had major power outages in our area from severe weather. I DO own a larger generator for my house, used in tandem with an isolation switch (so as to not to back feed an unsuspecting lineman), but this 2000 peak wattage little generator could handle keeping my neighbor’s full size fridge powered up while they were away. Originally bought as a charging station for 3 banks of deep cycle batteries, this unit is very nice to have for emergencies, (and your neighbors just may elect you for sainthood)!
It's overrated!

1st let me start by saying the fit and finish is excellent on this 56235i, but that's where it stops.
I just got this yesterday and I wanted to make sure it's output would be 1900 watts, or at least close to it.
I broke the motor in for about 2 hours yesterday with either just running it with no load or little load. Today, I picked up a 1500 watt heater to give it a decent load, and it failed.
Remember, this is sold as 1900 watt continuous and 2350 watts surge. On my unit I received, it's no where close. My unit can barely run a 1500 watt heater. It's 50/50. When I tested it, about half the time, the overload light would turn on and the generator would shut itself down. The other 1/2, the overload light would come on for a few seconds when it would run.
My plan over the next few days is to get an AC splitter and test the actual amp draw; it's rated at 15.3. I know it's not going to get anywhere near it before it trips, but I'm going to make a best effort and run some tests. I'll also be calling WEN to see what they have to say or can do for me.

It delivered as it promised. It is quieter than other generators. It is simple, efficient and easy to use. It won't power a whole house but it will get you through an emergency loss of power to keep a refrigerator and furnace running. It also has USB ports for phone charging and a 12v outlet for the 21st century. It is easy to set up and get running. Mine started right up the first time on the 8th pull. Starter rope is easy to use. Full instructions are included so you can determine how much power it will provide. It will also provide portable power to a temporary work site. It is portable and reliable at a competetive cost.
It’s very quiet and I can run it when it’s quiet time in deer camp.
