I purchased my lining paper a few months ago. My wall was a swirl plaster texture, after hanging the lining paper and applying regular pre-glued wall paper, the end result was a smooth finish. Not sure how peal and stick paper would result.

Primer is to flatten the wall, so I first used primer on wall then paste this wallpaper. Then paste the second desired layer of wallpaper on it, without primer and paint in the middle. To paint on it then paste the second layer of wallpaper may be convenient to tear off the second layer later, but I haven't tried it.

Yes. I suggest to have paint done over prime in case you want to peel the liner in the future, otherwise you will risk damage in the prime in the process.

It does not but Roman Pro 543 wallpaper paste is awesome stuff. Get the Roman and a squeegee and you’re all set. Had mine up 3 years and it still looks great.

The liner used had to be applied with a clay adhesive as the wall is textured (swirl pattern from late 70’s) the liner application was no problem. The result was beautiful and purchased wallpaper application was easy!

I did not use it on ceilings, but I don't see why it won't using a good wallpaper adhesive

I used this paper back in 2017 to paper my kitchen ceiling after a tree branch poked in an caused damage. Have plaster ceiling (1938 house). Used Roman Pro-543 paste I got at HD and sealed with latex semi-gloss. Three years later still looks better than new. Make sure you don't skimp on the paste.

No you can’t. We tried to do so with wall adhesive (bought from Homedept also) but could not stick on the wall firmly because the surface on the wall wasn’t smooth enough. We had to prime the wall with 2 coats the first before put the lining paper on again with the adhesive, then the wall paper on it. Everything is well since then.

We recommend applying the liner to a smooth/flat surface that only has minor imperfections. The liner will not adhesive to a wall that has a very uneven surface.
