Product Details

The Superior Pump 92017-U Remote Sink Drain Pump System is easy to assemble and install. This kit works great for laundry tubs, washing machines, wet bars and dehumidifiers. Complete kit includes sump pump, check valve, basin, discharge pipe, basin cover and hardware. Pump Features: The 1/3 HP submersible sump pump will move up to 46 Gal. of water per minute. This pump is made of rugged cast iron and includes an adjustable vertical float switch with piggy back plug to automatically turn the pump on/off. The pump offers a powerful, yet energy efficient (4.1 Amp) thermally protected motor for longer life and durability. Featuring a stainless steel impeller, 1-1/2 in. FIP discharge and 10 ft., replaceable, water proof power cord. Sump pump has side inlets for increased water flow, will handle 3/8 in. solids and is equipped with a suction screen on the bottom. Pump is UL/CUL listed and CSA certified. Basin Features: The 6 Gal. basin is constructed from corrosion resistant structural foam and includes a high quality molded reusable PVC seal. Kit is backed by a 1 year warranty.

Q:I do not want the washer to drain into the utility sink. Can I run my washer drain pipe directly into the pump basin through the top,? Will the pump keep up for a 10 foot head and 50 ft length? Can I simply vent to air (vs into the houses vent piping?

A:  Hi there, The washer should drain into this kit through the fitting on the side of the lid, not through the vent hole.
