A:  I could see that working

by|Jan 1, 2023

A:  The SureSill corner flashing is designed to be used with stepped flashing, so yes, it should work well for a skylight, as long as there is a slope that will carry any water down and away from the skylight.

A:  The SureCorner is meant for windows only Water will need to be sloped away from the skylight.

A:  Need a full sill pan for doors you can use adhesive flashing tape for windows

          by|May 4, 2022

          A:  Perfect application

          by|Nov 16, 2022

A:  This product is good for hard to seal areas in window corners. Of course, you are still going to need to create a widow bottom sill from some type of flexible adhesive membrane to use in conjunction with these corners. For doors, you really want to use an all-in-one sill pan that has a lip behind the door, slopes toward the door opening and has built in corners, something that makes it impossible for water to back flow under an exterior door threshold. Use something like this: The SureSill 4-1/8 in. x 117 in. White PVC Sloped Sill Pan for Door and Window Installation and Flashing (Complete Pack)

A:  It is best suited for windows. It is best for a single piece installation under doors.

            by|Apr 27, 2021

A:  As a builder, I have used these along with some flashing membrane under doors. This company makes plastic sill pans and they recommend those since they drain better and are continuous plus have some some slope and a interior lip to prevent water from getting inside the house.

A:  These are placed on the bottom two corners of the rough window opening so you need two per window.

A:  Typically, you need one corner piece per side. So 2

A:  Two, you only need for the bottom corners

                  by|Mar 7, 2021

A:  2 per window. So a pack of 4 will do 2 windows. You just need them on the bottom corners

A:  I put them in all 4 corners but you only "need " them in the bottom 2

When installing windows with flexible sill flashing alone, turning the corner creates a small spot where water can infiltrate because you have to cut it so it will lay flat at both the sill and the jamb. By installing this product at the lower corners before installing the sill flashing, it provides a secondary line of defense against water intrusion should any water get past the flashing right at the lower corner. These pieces are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. It probably took less than 5 minutes per window opening (2 lower corners), which is faster than using a traditional 'bow-tie' made from flexible flashing to seal the corner. On top of increased speed, it creates a better end result. Flexible sill flashing sticks to it aggressively and forms a good seal. I would recommend this product to anyone installing new windows with outside nailing flanges.

Product was easy to install with staple gun, giving the extra water protection to my new window installation, just like seen on You Tube. Not sure why Home Depot has this product is under door and window, because the product description small print says not to use on a door. Otherwise seems to be just the thing for windows.

Great product - exactly what I needed!
I learned about corner flashings on YouTube, however, I had a difficult time locating some to procure. Home Depot had the product I needed and delivered them very quickly. The product worked exactly as expected and I will purchase again. All my expectations were exceeded (service and product).
