Product Overview

40-years of experience in crafting America's best wood stoves can now be found in the new Survivor series of camp stoves (aka wall tent stoves) by England's Stove Works. Constructed of heavy duty 12-Gauge steel for longevity, these stoves are sized just right to remain portable yet very useful, whatever your needs may be. The removable legs fit inside the stove body and the top edges are bent to double as handy carrying handles. The 4 in. Dia chimney pipe is offset to provide more cooking space and the top of the stove is designed to provide as much heating area as possible. The circular door draft, in-door air redirect and included door gasket ensure that you can accurately and safely control your burn rate and the hexagonal firebox rounds out the HexaTech technology system to ensure that your stove is built for hours of steady, even distribution of heat. Available in three sizes that heat wall tents anywhere from 12 ft. x 14 ft. to 16 ft. x 24 ft. in size.

This is a great stove. It's a lot heavier duty that I expected which is good. I expect to use this in the woods 30 - 40 days this year and would recommend it to anyone as it's a fine quality stove. A couple things that could make it better is I'd like to have a 5" stove pipe fitting vs 4". My wall tent is a 14 x 16 with a 5" to 6" telescopong stove pipe (common) so I'll need to get a reducer to make it fit. They claim it gives more heating space which is true, but it's not like it's an extra burner so I'd prefer giving up the 1/2 inch and not having to buy the adapter. The thumb screws to secure the legs will become a problem either by losing them, stripping, or becoming jammed as they begin to rust from the heat. A 3/4" screw in pipe would have been better both in ease to install as well as adjusting to uneven ground. The last nuance is it doesn't have rings or holes to tie it to a pack animal so I'll either need to retrofit it or manty it. For trailhead or car camping this wouldn't be an issue as it's very easy to lift with a good lip on the stove top to grab a hold of. With those as the negatives I'd for sure buy and recommend this again over stoves that cost a lot more because of the consruction, quality, price, gasket sealed door and angled sides which should help warping when I burn it too hot. I loaded it with dry red fir and it burned 9 real hours so will definitely be a plus in firing it back up in the mornings when camping. I have a collapsible/packable stove and also a cylinder stove which I consider this one to be of better quality. I online shopped many other stoves and was concerned about the price difference, but like I mentioned it is a lot bigger, heavier and higher quality than I expected. It took 4 days to receive which was also a pleasant surprise. Being there were no other reviews when I wrote this, I thought I'd take the time and provide a lot of detail as I felt I was taking a chance when I ordered it. The picture shows a 10" fry pan and large 32 cup coffee pot for size reference.

Kept our wall tent nice and toasty! Wish it came in a package with accessories included or at least a disclaimer on the site that says “ accessories not included. Maybe I missed it? Was able to find what we needed. Some of the other reviewers had mentioned how the legs attached being cheaply made, I would agree. After first use in the mountains, I will probably reinforce the bolts that hold them on. Other then that, I loved it, great Little stove!
