AnswersIt was shipped to my house and if I recall correctly, from the west coast. I was nervous about the quality but the grain was gorgeous. I chose the side with the knots as I thought it gave the table more character. Also, I've never had an issue with returns with Home Depot. The photos show the board sanded, stained & matte poly.

These guys have really nice wood. I will be using them all the time for my custom wood projects. The live edge walnut had great bark that remained in tact throughout the entire piece just like the picture home depot advertises. And after its clear coated ( i used 1 base shellac coat and 3 coats of polyurathane) the grain texture is beautiful never mind looking like glass.Thank you Swaner wood

I used this live edge Walnut to make an amazing river coffee table and matching serving platter. Excellent quality wood already flat and smooth very easy to finish. Bought two of these along with a 2’ piece for a table I’m making. This was my second time buying from them. Cannot recommend Swaner Hardwood enough. Ryan helped me out and made it so easy for me to find the right options for my project.

Sourcing good timber for a reasonable price has been a challenge. Then I came across this product at Home Depot. To be honest i wasn't expecting a lot, I guess jaded from experiences elsewhere, but i was hopeful. The box arrived in around a week or so. It was heavy - i was beginning to feel this could be good. Packed real well for what is essentially wood. I was very surprised at the quality of this product! A real choice piece and will make a nice piece of furniture. Certainly recommend and buy again.

Made these live edge charcuterie boards for my wife and couldn’t be more impressed. These had more character than the last batch I got but every piece is different and beautiful. Used Home Depot 3x thick polyurethane in matte finish
