T Bevel is one of those tools I never knew I'd need. After researching I think this will be a super handy tool. I can comment how well built it is and it is very well built. The wood handle and all brass nuts & screws will definitely last a long time with proper care. I'm really glad I picked this up and can't wait to use it more on my projects. This thing is awesome!

The Swanson sliding t-bevel is a great tool. Has a nice looking hardwood handle with brass ends and a brass tension knob, unlike other brands that use a wing nut. The brass knob is easier in the hand and looks better. I gave this 4/5 stars due to the sharp squared edges and a couple of wood shavings left hanging by the logo in the handle. Not a huge deal by any means. I plan to lightly sand the edges so the tool does not have the sharp edges. The tool works great at it's job of finding angles and then duplicating them multiple times. The t-bevel also has laser marked ruler both in inches and centimeters. One side of the ruler is marked in 1/16" increments, and the flip side is 1/32" markings for added accuracy.

This is a good looking and well made t-bevel. The knurled brass knob is very nice and the matching brass edges make for good looking protection. The etched measurements on the stainless blade and hardwood handle mean this thing will hold up.
For measurements there is 1 side in CM, the other 3 sides with inches in 8ths, 16ths, and 32nds, so you can be pretty darn precise with this bad boy. If you're a woodworker or a DIYer doing angles at all, get this to have in your bag. Will help you make easy repeatable cuts every time.

Must have for wood worker, flooring and tile. Wholly cow I can’t believe I have not had t bevel before. It made quick work on my project Jon boat for making a cardboard template for the front deck. I kept thinking what is an ez way to do a double angle. This is the magic tool I needed. I made the template in about 5min then I will bookmatch it for the other side. I’m also making a custom shed soon and this is for sure going in to my tool belt. Don’t hesitate and buy one, it’s a tool you need to make more accurate and quick work of your next project. I’ve only had the Swanson t Bevel for 2 weeks and ready for the many more to come.

This will really come in handy with my woodworking and jobs around the house. I just got it and had to try it out. It's simple to use and looks sturdy enough to last for many years of use. This completely takes the guesswork out of getting the right angle (that is, if it's not just a right angle). If you need to copy a piece of framework or something on your house to replace it, you can be sure you have the perfect angle by laying the wooden handle across the flat side and moving the metal bevel to match the adjoining piece of wood. Then lock it in with the thumb wheel and you can trace it onto your workpiece. It has etched in markings for the measurements on each side. One side has inches and the other side has centimeters and 32nds of an inch. I like that they're etched into the stainless steel, as some cheaper ones might just print it on with ink, and it wears off in time. I also like the wooden handle and the fact that the stainless steel on the sliding bevel is not flimsy. Looks like a well-made tool that I'm sure I'll get lots of use out of in the coming years.

This is one of those tools that does not get a lot of action but when it does it does an awesome job. I used this Sliding T-Bevel to make sure I make exact cuts on those expensive rafter boards. I can cut my boards with confidence that my cut angle is exact. The hardwood handle is very sturdy but light weight. the sliding ruler locks securely in place every time. this wooding tool is not just a fancy angle finder, it's a quality tool that will last a lifetime. Definitely PRO grade equipment.

This is Swanson’s 9 inch / 22 cm T bevel. The hardwood handle is brass bound with a flat set knob. The blade is stainless steel, probably 304 grade, as it is magnetic, and has four scales, in 8ths, 16ths and 32nds of an inch as well as centimeters and millimeters. The scale is etched, which allows for more accurate measurements than a stamped scale. Swanson’s T -Bevel has a limited 1 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In a perfect world you wouldn’t need a T-bevel, but this isn’t a perfect world. A T-bevel is used to transfer angles from surfaces to work pieces, or from a work piece to other workpieces so they match perfectly, or to copy angles from a protractor to workpieces for precise cuts. This bevel is well made, with square edges to help seat the bevel on the surfaces you are replicating. The scales are well marked and easy to read and mark from, even for my old eyes.

This T-Bevel is a well made and is a nice looking tool. It has brass accents and brass hardware. The sliding arm is made from stainless steel and is marked on both sides as a ruler. This is very convenient for spot measuring anything up to eight inches. The large brass tension nut and wood base really grabs the sliding arm and does not move when you are transferring the angle onto another item to cut. This is very important when you need to mark multiple items for cutting. I had one where the base was plastic and it would move easily while handling.

Swanson T-Bevel is used to transfer angles and as a depth gauge. This one has brass at the hinge as well as a brass bolt and knurled knob tightening nut. Millimetres and 32ths scale on one side with 8ths and 16ths on the other side. Handle is hardwood with laser etched name in the handle. Scale is stainless steel and etched. Scale is 9" long. Overall not a bad tool and will definitely work.

Hardwood Handle Sliding T bevel From Swamson is very well made it works and looks great 9in is just the right size. I can carry it in my shop apron to use with my lathe, band, table and scroll saws. Great to transfer angles or as a depth gauge even on the drill press. Easy to read etched stainless steel one side in cm and 32ths other side 8ths and 16ths . This gets a lot of use with a lot of projects
