Are they GMO free?

Yes, Black Satin Blackberry was bred the old fashioned way by crossing flowers of different blackberries and growing the seeds to find the best traits of the parents. Great question! Thanks

will they grow in full sun in Phoenix Az.?

Thank you for your interest. Black Satin Blackberry can take heat, but the intensity of the Arizona sun may be too much. Blackberries require a chilling or cool period in winter to reset for new growth in spring. I would suggest contacting your local agriculture extension service for their advice. Sorry I do not have a better answer. The plants are grown in Wisconsin and very hardy. I am not sure about the other extreme of heat. Thank you again.
