A southern highbush blueberry variety. An early variety that is a heavy fruit producer in warm climates. Berries are large, sky blue and have a sweet flavor. Plants are vigorous and semi-upright in habit. Scintilla is self-infertile, which means it needs another blueberry plant of a different variety planted near it to reach maximum fruit production.
