Blue Cool Wave Slide

I purchased this slide after reading positive reviews for a basement fort I constructed. I made a frame for extra support since I was not able to add stakes to the end of the slide as recommended. The frame helped stiffen things up too and now I can confidently go down the slide with my kids too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snow, cold, ❄️and can’t be outside. This slide was ordered on a Friday and arrived (FedX) on Tuesday! It was ordered from the company site (out of stock on my usual ordering site). Our 4 and 6 year olds love ❤️ this slide (installed indoors) that was added to their already “cool basement play area”. Wish we had it sooner. We chose this (one piece) slide due to higher stability compared to a sectional. Kids are rough on playground equipment.

The install was easy and the slide is very secure.

I bought this for an indoor playset and it has been great. I hope the color doesn't fade when I move it out in the sun. This slide is pretty darn durable. Since it's indoor at the moment and there's no way for me to screw the bottom of it to posts in the ground, I've added 2 parallel 2x4s and screwed it in that way. I also added additional support to it around halfway, using 2x4s for my peace of mind as it gets a little wobbly when kids who are on the heavier side, slide down. A couple of things that I would like improved on it are: 1. Similar to how the bottom has a molded step, I'd like to see that at the top as well as it gets a little tricky at first, to screw it in place. I have used in on a 4 feet tall deck and at first I thought it might not fit. 2. The counter sink for the screws at the top are a little shallow. and the screws seem to not be leveled with the slide surface, when fully screwed in. For now I have used a little duct tape for the center screw. :) Overall, its a great product. With a few minor tweaks, it can be an awesome one. Hope this helps anyone planning on getting this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Super Tube Slide because it was literally the only one I could get my hands on after 4 months of trying. It's definitely a good quality product, but it was monstrously difficult to put together, and I'm pretty good at this stuff (I was adding to my custom and homemade playset). The main problem is that many of the predrilled holes din't line up properly, and the material isn't flexible enough to manipulate to make the bolts fit easily (which of course is a good thing when it comes to the toughness and longevity of the product). It took an entire day and a lot of elbow grease and some creativity to make it all work. Now that it's together, it's wonderful, but beware that it won't be easy to get this up and running.

The kids love the slide, but there are a few design limitations that buyers should be aware of. (1) The slide did not come with screws to secure it, or stakes to anchor the foundation. I had to make a separate trip to the store to pick these up. (2) The slide is rated for ~250 lbs, but it buckled quite a bit when approaching even 200 lbs with multiple kids climbing on at the same time. I custom-fit a couple of 2x4s as supports on either side of the slide to reinforce it for weight, and then anchored those to the kids' fort and into the ground. I'm very happy with the result, but it took quite a bit more effort (and more materials) than expected. The slide "looks" great and is a lot of fun for the kids once it's installed, but be prepared to pick up some additional hardware and supports to install it safely.

Not only does the slide flex every time my 3 year old slides down but the sides are so low it doesn’t provide any safety rails. She has fallen off the side twice now.. and we’ve only hade this slide a few days.

Replaced the Dark Green Slide with the yellow one. Green was HOT when in the sun. The Yellow is not as hot and kids can play on during the day. It's a little thinner but works for us. Easy to install.

The slide is a great size and wavy part is lots of fun!! . My son is enjoying it! I love the green color. And it was bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise! I definitely would buy this again!
