No. If you read the details the small cover you see on each side are access holes so you can bolt the toilet down. They are inside mount bolts rather than the exposed ones. Makes the unit easier to clean.

The flush is not extremely noisy, but the fill afterward can be heard all over the house. It sounds like the fill valve is barely opening and it takes a long time to complete the fill. Also, there is no owners manual or troubleshooting guide online or with the product.
Yes on top of the flush valve there is a plastic screw. If you want more water you turn it clockwise. If you want less water you turn it counterclockwise.
Mine is longer than advertised. 27.5 inches.

If you look through all of the photos, there is one with very specific dimensions in distance from the back of the tank to the center of the seat bolt. We were able to calculate it and ensure that our bidet that we ordered would fit (it did!). I hope this helps!
