Very well pleased with my new 4-pack of 60 Watt double life incandescent light bulbs. They were the exact size I needed for my new ceiling fixture which required only 3 bulbs, so a spare was nice to have also. Very economical at less that one dollar per bulb. Nice and bright, with just the right amount of output. I'll definitely be purchasing a few more packages of these, as I have additional lamps and fixtures that require this exact style of bulb. I actually do expect them to last the 2.7 years as was advertised. Since they were designed tor "double life", that makes them even more desirable for various types of lighting needs. Additional features that I really like are the frosted bent tip, which is such a classic design, and also the fact that these bulbs are dimmable. Very hard to find a great combination of all these elements in one single product. I've trusted Sylvania products for more than 50 years, and these bulbs are no exception. Â

A good value pack for your lamps and other small bulb applications. My ceiling fans, as many others do, use this bulb along with some of my touch lamps. The touch lamps have 3 brightness settings and my ceiling fans have remotes with dimmers. The bulbs that came with the fans were just not quite bright enough but these bulbs, at 60 watt are just right. They come 4 to a pack (and other) are incandescent (not LED or CFL). Yet have extended life which makes them an even better value. If you have many applications for this type bulb, may want to stock up since they could become obsolete in the near future.

A couple of key features that drew me to theses bulbs are: A) You can install them with the base up down or horizontally. B) They are dimmable. C) They last 2X longer then other similar bulbs. D) They are indoor/outdoor bulbs. I needed bulbs that will last a long time because it is very hard to get my fat hand into the bottom of my outside lights to replace the bulbs. I’m not sure why but it seems like I was changing those bulbs outside 3 times a year. I only turn them on and off briefly. Now I won’t have to for about 2.7 years (based on 3 hrs a day). And they put off plenty of light so my walk is illuminated very well.

Elegant frosted bent tip candelabra base light bulb is 60w and gives off 545 lumens in a typical incandescent light bulb soft white. This bulb is dimmable which makes it versatile for uses in dinning rooms to craft or bedrooms. This is the smaller base bulb than the standard light bulb we have used for years. The frosted bulb helps take some of the harshness and glare ( see pic below and comparison of center and right bulb) out of the bulb and softens it so it distributes a gentle glow in the room but is still bright. Its brightness is comparable to LED bulb which are shown in the picture below. One shows just this bulb lit up in my dinning room fixture. The other shows this bulb in the center, with LED bulb to the left and a regular clear 60w bulb on the right. This is a double life bulb so the element is designed to be able to take more jostling around than the standard element. When you shake it you don't hear any sound at all. With many regular bulbs you will hear a slight twang, not much just a small one. When they are blown it is 10 times or more louder. That means it should hold up well in what ever fixture you use, up to and including ceiling fans.
