These are high quality LED light bulbs built to work with Apples Home Kit. If you use apple products then this is the home automation lightbulb for you. Keep in mind that you also need an apple TV in order to access your bulb from anywhere in the world. You can control on/off times and brightness and can use the Apple "scenes" functionality. The bulb is a 40 watt equivalent which concerned me a bit that it might be too dim to read by but that was not a problem for me. I actually have it set at 60% for nightstand reading. The attached photos show the light off, at 40%, and at full power.

This is a 40-watt equivalent bulb that produces 650 lumens of light using only 6 watts of energy. It is warm white light at 2700K on the spectrum, has a rated life of about 13 years based on average use, and has a two-year warranty. The bulb has a standard base and can be controlled by the Apple Home app – and by Siri. A bridge, apple TV, or an ipad is required for smart control, and you do need to download the apple home app. Light is easy to install, easy to set up on Apple Home, and works as expected. It is dimmable and can be controlled via voice or through the smart device app. It looks great – that old time retro look. More decorative or task lighting rather than full room lighting due to its wattage rating. Good thing is you can leave it on, set to automatic operation, or a combo – and at 6 watts of usage, it basically costs pennies to burn.

As other reviewers have mentioned I also only received one bulb when the smart Bluetooth 40 watt equivalent LED light bulb was advertised as being in a two pack. I first installed it into my light fixture as per the instructions. Then I set it up using the IOS Home app. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. The light not only can be turned on and off but is dimmable as well.I do not consider it bright enough to read by at 650 lumens, but it is energy efficient at a yearly cost of only 72 cents.I am controlling the light using Siri. How easy is that! It has a two year warranty. I am not recommending the product because there was only one bulb but it does work well enough.

This light bulb offers on, off and dimming capabilities along with an elegant vintage filament design, 40-Watt Equivalent A19 has a soft white light appearance of 2700K.

My mind continues to be blown by the latest in lightbulbs. Here we have the Sylvania LED filament smart bulb that works with the Apple home kit. It comes with an impressive two year warranty. To use first you install it into your light fixture. Open the iOS Home app then follow the simple steps in the included instructions, which contains the code needed to connect to Bluetooth. Couldn’t be easier. Dims and turns on and off. You can also schedule away from home controls. For software upgrades download the Sylvania smart home app. I am using this bulb in a lamp with a thick linen shade but you can probably get better use of this bulb’s convenience and features by using a more sheer lamp shade or an open light fixture. I love the idea of being in one room while controlling the light in another room with my phone.

The SMART+ Bluetooth 40-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable Filament LED Light Bulb Soft White is a standard bulb with the capability of being Bluetooth controlled by Siri and by the Apple Home app. easy to set up and turn on and off with either voice control or with the app. Package says 650 lumens and 2700k soft white light appearance. Package only came with 1 bulb, not sure why it says 2. Overall, not a bad product if you like tech stuff. But I stick with the standard bulbs for now.

This is my first smart lightbulb, and I really like it. I installed the bulb in a floor lamp in my living room to have more control over the lighting in my room. The instructions seem to be more for Apple products, but I had no trouble installing the android app for this on my phone and getting the light bulb set up. You can customize the name of the bulb, so if you have more than one you won't get them confused. It is very easy to adjust the brightness of the light, so if you want a very dim night light, a slightly brighter light for watching TV at night, or a bright light to read by, you can do it all within the app. You can even adjust the color tone of the light emitted to your preference (more white or yellow tone). I really enjoy this light. It's really sturdy and well made and the LED will last a very long time.

The Smart+ bulb is great if you're looking for something that works without a hub. The bulb pairs directly with your iPhone or iPad and can be controlled individually or as part of a group from the Home app. Pairing was simple. Powered up the bulb, launched the Home app and tapped on Add an Accessory. The app discovered the bulb and prompted me for the Home Kit Code. Once paired I can use Siri or the app interface to dim the bulb or to turn it on or off. Like all smart bulbs, they must remain connected to a powered socket in order to control them, but this bulb (and others I assume) is nice because if you do turn off power to the socket, when you turn the socket back on the bulb returns to its previous setting (e.g. On and dimmed at 30%). I did notice the dim feature really only works down to about 15%. Anything between 15% and 1% is the same brightness. 0% is, of course, OFF. There was a slight buzz between 70% and 80% brightness, but only noticeable close to the bulb when there was no background noise. The big downside to this bulb is that it's bluetooth and can only be paired to one device directly. If you want to control it from multiple devices you need to share it with other users logged into iCloud and pair it with a Hub like HomePod or AppleTV. That said, if you're looking for a simple smart bulb that can connect without a hub, it's great. The color temperature is warm and the bulb responds promptly to commands. Setup is quick. You'll be up and running in less than 5 minutes if you already have the Home app installed on your device.

Smart+ Bluetooth bulb is a 40 watt bulb, good bulb with a Bluetooth built in it. Just put the bulb in the holder and turn it on, now open your apple device and set it up using the passcode given in the package. Once the set up is done, you can instruct Siri to turn on and turn off light. If you accidentally turn off the light manually via switch, the connection has to be set again with the passcode in your apple device after switching the bulb manually turned on. The set up is a one time activity and after that your life becomes easy. You can easily turn on and off by using Siri I got 1 bulb in the package waiting for the 2nd one as mentioned in the description

This Sylvania Smart+ bulb came delivered as a single bulb which was disappointing when I opened the package as I chose the 2-pack. Downloaded the Sylvania Smart+ appl off the Google Store then struggled over 30 minutes before researching the fact there are many others who currently have difficulties getting this vendor’s smart bulbs to play nicely with Google Homes. Exacerbating matters is the fact it appears you need a hub as I simply cannot get this smart bulb to power up or off using either my Google Nexus 10 tablet or my Google Home or Mini. Sylvania should publish better sales and installation collaterals clearly stating you need a smart hub such as the ones from either Philips or Samsung. In the interim I’m going to re-gift this to a family member who is a Apple disciple. Me, I’m a Google convert and wish to stay a Google user.
