Can you pair more than 1 lightbulb to a single iphone?

Answers

If you are strictly using the Bluetooth on the phone and no application with it then it would only support one bulb at a time. If you have an application such as iHome on your phone it could run as many as that application supports.

You should have no issue with this bulb using BLE4.0+. The bulb is rated at 120V so it would not be rated to run at 220V.

The Sylvania LED A-19 Soft White Smart bulb is bluetooth compatible and dimmable. I know it says it everywhere, but just make sure you are aware that this smart bulb can’t be controlled by Amazon Alexa. This bulb is controlled through the Apple Home App. Installation and set up is quick and easy. Great product, user friendly at a reasonable price point.

The smart bulb is beyond simple to install and setup. Simply plug in to an exiting lap our ceiling light. Open the Home app from your iPhone, select new item and scan the ID code provided within the instruction manual. Once connected, you can control the percentage of brightness, from 0 to 100 percent. Other than brightness, there aren't any other controls you can adjust.

This light bulb was installed in a table lamp in my bedroom. I downloaded the app and connected it to my iPhone. it was a very simple process and I can now control the lamp from my phone. It's pretty neat; I can turn my lamp on/off or dim it from anywhere. It's a lot of fun but the only practical use I have found for it is turning on my lamp from my bed when my alarm goes off in the morning and I can snooze. Having the lamp on reminds me it is time to get up. I can see where this function could be useful elsewhere.

The smart+ Bluetooth 60-watt equivalent soft white dimmable A19 LED light bulb is the easiest method to turn a house into a smart home. This is the future of bulbs. This beautifully designed bulb can be installed the regular way, no requirement for any tools. The bulb is paired directly to your phone no additional hub or bridge required. No risk that comes from working with wires or difficult in wall installation of light switches. Pairing to Apple Home kit was easier than installation and the instruction was easy to understand. Definitely recommend this bulb.

I installed this Sylvania SMART+ bulb in a lamp in my bedroom. The lamp is on a small accent table next to the bed and is honestly hard to reach so this works perfect for my situation. The setup process took three minutes at best. Once you screw in the bulb and turn on the light, it will blink a few times to indicate it's ready to be added. You then scan the HomeKit code that is found in the product manual. From there you are pretty much finished except for assigning the bulb to a room and changing the name if you like. I recently sold my home that had an extensive HomeKit setup so I'm very familiar with how all this works. I really like that this bulb doesn't require a hub to be connected to the wireless router. This works out great since I'm staying with a friend for now. I can still have some home automation without being too intrusive of a house guest. I have a HomePod in the bedroom so I can turn the lamp on/off and dim it by telling Siri to do so, with the HomePod I even have remote connectivity. Anyway, I really like this bulb. There are a lot of options out now but for certain situations, this one is perfect.

So this light isn't "bad" but I don't love it. A big part of that might be because I don't use the apple home kit for anything really, but rather, I like to control things through Alexa. I have an apple tv, ipads, iphones, and a mac. I just don't use apple home. So this can be controlled through that and below you have screen shots of what that app looks like, but it's a little "clunky" to use the app. The light it actually puts out is decent, not overly bright, but sufficient. The bulb size is great! Many smart bulbs I have are a little bigger than standard, this is about dead on and should fit in any socket. But for the price I think there are probably more "seamless" options. For me if it added alexa control or an app with timers etc. it would be MUCH better. I don't want to go to apple TV to set up a timer schedule. I want to see it to confirm on my phone.

This smart light bulb is incredibly easy to setup. Because it is designed to work specifically with Apple's Homekit, it will be extremely easy to use if you have an Apple iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. The HomeKit app is already built into those devices. When you start the app and want to add a device, you simply scan the code that comes with the light bulb and the app does the rest for you. It's really that simple. However, if you only have an iPhone, you CANNOT setup a schedule for this bulb. Because it works on bluetooth, you can only setup schedules with iPads running iOS 10 or later or Apple TV 4th generation or later (and they have to be at your home if you want to control the bulb from a remote location). This is a major drawback to this light bulb. It is incredibly easy to setup, but it is not practical to use for automatic scheduling unless you have the right equipment that allows scheduling. You can only turn on/off/dim with your iphone, you cannot setup a schedule and the bulb does not change colors. For these reasons, the value suffers because the use of the bulb is very limited unless you have additional equipment.

The SMART+ Bluetooth Soft White Dimmable A19 Smart LED Light Bulb gave us a remote control light in our bedroom. It is the only dimmable light we have, a nice addition to our room. It took us a while to setup the remote use. I have it setup on my iPad, but have yet to get it setup on our iPhone, I need more time or a new phone. I had not activated the iPad's Home app, this was the problem. Had not problem downloading the Sylvania app. Instructions were good, but font small.

This Sylvania Smart+ Bluetooth soft white dimmable A19 smart LED light bulb a step into future if you have apple phone iPad or Apple TV to use as a hub. It uses the home program which operates multiple smart devices and allows Siri interface. I love the dimmable variations available. Set up was pretty straight forward it’s Bluetooth so keep that in mind. I’m finding that it disconnects fairly easily but reconnects just as quick. So it’s not perfect but sure is a step in the right direction. I like the variable programming choices the home program offers on this bulb. Setting timers automation commands Siri verbal interface. And it’s LED last longer less power consumption. ◦
