A compatible ZigBee hub is required to operate this bulb.
If by plug you mean HUB, then no you wouldn't need a separate HUB for each light. Depending on which HUB you are using would determine how many can go on each. You would want to check with the HUB manufacture on how many devices it can handle.

We would not recommend putting a SMART+ product in a motion sensor fixture. When the motion turned this off and on it would cause issue with the connection.
If the bulbs blinked when turned on then they were searching for the hub and couldn't find it. If this happened you would need to contact the hub manufacturer. If they didn't blink when turned on you may have to do a manual reset by turning them on for 5 seconds then off for 5 seconds, 5 times in a row.
