Is the flow rate of this faucet actually 2.5 gal per minute? That seems extremely slow, especially for the 50+ gallon tub we're planning to use it on.

Tub faucet

Symmons Carrington 2-Handle Deck-Mount Roman Tub Faucet in Chrome Model # SRT-4470 Internet # 100663103 Is the top of this faucent removeable allowing me to run a rod up to a shower head for an old cast iron tub?
Asked by: goldenwaste
Dear Goldenwaste: My apologies for the delay in responding to you. The Roman tub offered is not able to be configured in the manner described. The shell contains a dedicated waterway that cannot be diverted without re-engineering the basic design, and thereby voiding the warranty. I have seen such set-ups before, often with exposed risers leading up to the showerhead, but that is not a design we currently offer. Sincerely, Shane
