This is the only company that hands their casement windows different than any other company in the US. Ask others like; Andersen, Pella, Marvin, Jeldwen, Milgard etc. They all hand casement windows the same way. If you have an issue with handing, the Tafco CS; Chris S. will not even thank you for your business or apologize for the issue. Clearly very disconnected. Tafco considers a Right Hand window to have the hinges on the LEFT when viewed from homes exterior- This is opposite from the Industry Standard. Keep this in mind if you decide to order. If you have an issue, you can't even email their website and on 1-29-20 its still not working. I have to say, HD online has been great and very responsive in this process- Thank you. The window is nice but we were burned with Tafco and their backwards handing method. It would us cost almost as much to rip out and pay again for the siding and install than the window cost us. I will stick to Andersen next time. See photo of what they consider a RIGHT HAND window.

This is a BASIC vinyl window. I bought on PRICE and would say I got what I paid for. Hardware (locks, crank, etc.) are BASIC and not particularly robust. As it is twice as tall as it is wide, the casement is relatively heavy and one notices some resistance when cranking it in or out. It seems to seal nicely. I could not find a used window in this size and every other new window was priced significantly higher. I got my door for 40% lss than the window - scratch n dent with 9-panel glass, pre-hung.

Finally installed it. The crank handle doesn't appear o have a screw or other way to secure it to the gear-like post it turns to open the window. Not sure if this will prove important over the long run.
It opened and closed fine first time out. No apparent issues. There were several globs of some sort of sealant blocking holes in the top and bottom frame and covering the protruding end of a screw tat was through the vinyl farme - apparently by design as opposed to a 'fix'.'

one window was inferior to the others..loose screen, doesnt lock...
one window was inferior to the others..loose screen, doesnt lock correctly even after replaceing lock mechanism. customer service was helpful....one window was broke in transit ..its a month still a know show.
