I got this for my parents since they live In the country and have a well. They have a shallow well that feeds their house and I thought this would be a great back up to the one that they have. This pump self primes after the initial filling. The delivery and suction connectors can be rotated to suit your fitting needs. It also has a two year warranty outside of abuse.

This was the quickest shallow-well jet pump that I have ever done. I was amazed by this product. It is light-weight and extremely quiet. I was going to locate it outside and build a weatherproof box around it but later decided to move my shed to the spot. It took about 2 hours to install and another hour to read the instructions. I would recommend this to anyone.

This review is for the TALLAS 3/4 HP 115-Volt Pressure Switch Controlled Shallow Well 18 L Tank Jet Pump I hate replacing pumps of any kind. Plumbing and electrical combination is not my ideal situation. The thing that appeals to me in this design is that it solves several problems of pumps in the past. This new design is liquid cooled, so there is no fan to go bad. Maintenance free tank fixes issues with water pressure. No more dribble The quality of this pump is instantly apparent once you open the box. Comes double boxed so nothing is dented or broken.

A great shallow well jet pump. Easy to install and start up The pictorial instructions are a great starting point. The pump has a compact design with a sturdy base and easy access to all its maintenance features. (See Photo 1.) Plumbing connections are arranged to permit a neat "in loop" piping arrangement, which makes installation easy to accomplish with pipes supported so as to avoid imposing stress on the pump fittings. (See Photo 2.) One quickly can adjust / maintain the expansion tank pressure by re-inflating the bladder. (See Photo 3.) Power circuitry, including overload protection is conveniently located in one enclosure mounted topside. (See Photo 4.) In my application I take advantage of the pump's self-priming capability. I created a "garden well" using a well point driven 25 feet. The pump also multi-tasks when I replenish my water feature pond (fish and plants) or drive a small landscape irrigation system. I also press the pump into service during storm events to draw down groundwater that impinges on my basement. In the latter instance, I just bypass those other uses and pump water "overboard" into a wooded area. I am considering acquiring three more of these pumps to make a "drawdown net" that protects all sides of my foundation.

This shallow well pump is most impressive especially as compared to most of the pumps that are currently available. Italian designed, but made in China, it appears to take advantage of the best of both cultures. It also has a pre-filter that I haven't seen on a shallow well pump, much like a swimming pool or spa pump. It includes a universal wrench that gives one access to all the drain plugs, prime spots, and intake filter. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to have a hanger to store this specific universal wrench on the pump itself. Lastly, the instructions and guide, along with a detailed manual is included, in several languages but the one page "Quick Guide" I found to be easy to understand and sufficient for most DIYers.

This pump is very well designed. We have a well, so this was a great asset to our home. My husband is very handy and was able to install it with using the tool that was included. There is a gauge and an adjustable switch on the unit itself. You do have to have a power supply nearby though, as it must be plugged in. The unit was very well packaged, so no damage occurred in shipping!

I am adding this to my well in the fall . I am so pleased with how easy to set up this jet pump is. Priming is a breeze. Comes with all the valve wrenches needed. Is 11 operational with a six foot pigtail. Has easy to read and follow instructions. I like this pump and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace or upgrade. Most of all this looks so simple and eloquent. Dials are easy to read. Extra nipple. Sturdy filter. Built in pressure switch.

This pump is imported. After reviewing the pump body, tank, and features, I will state that this is a well orchestrated booster pump. The instructions are well written, and understandable. There is a cause for concern, the upper portion is encased in hard thick plastic. But should not be of concern, if stationery. This pump cools the motor with water being drawn, so far quieter that you typical pump. This pump shipping box is insanely constructed, great job shipping.

Exchanging one of our well pumps before the onset of winter, I had no issues at all in swapping the already pipe work on the old struggling pump (11 years old) over to the new one. The well is on the border of the depth of this pump’s capability at 26 feet deep. After the initial priming, it sucked up the water and pushed it up a sloping incline of 90 feet and up 15 feet into a storage bladder with no issues. After the tank was full, which took 90 minutes at 320 gallons, I checked the pump’s hand temperature and it was warm but certainly not over heating having pushed 320 gallons 90 feet up through the woods and another 15 ft up to the tank with the gauge showing 38PSI. The connections are as expected referring to the old one. The wiring was as simple as wiring a plug using outside cable and connecting that to my generator. Due to our regular pesky lightning strikes up here in north Vermont, I always unplug it and move it inside a small shed. No leaks and runs very quiet CSA Certified,CSA-US Certified ,NSF Certified Manufacturer Warranty 2 Year warranty with a 90-day returnable

I really wanted this pump to solve a very important problem. We are in Florida and we are faced every year with tropical storms and hurricanes. Because we are in a very rural area when the power goes out with a storm we are one of the last to get the power back on. We have generators but they only power 115V systems and not the other 230V pumps we have. This pump is strictly 115V which is just what we need. I installed three 15’ deep well points and had them ready to hookup to this pump. I read the instructions ahead of time and had my supports in place for the pipes as this pump won’t support the pipe weights. Not much piping to support as only the intake from the wells and close by the pump I placed a water spigot to fill my 5 gallon buckets. Let me place a caution in right now. The surface water we will be using is safe for bathing and flushing toilets. We have bottled water to drink and water specially stored for washing dishes. DO NOT DRINK SURFACE WATER. Hookup took all of 45 minutes as we had everything ready. As for power we are using a 12 gauge extension cord from the generator to the pump. We had a concrete pad already installed for the pump too. The assembly has rubber feet/pads but you can do a permanent mounting too. The good is the pump primed really fast and the water flowing through cools the pump. You MUST prime the pump the first time and after that it is self priming. Actually easy to prime. Because you have the pressure tank attached it makes hookup really fast and easy. The 3/4 HP is more than we need and it works very well. The one difference with this pump vs other pumps is this pump is fairly quiet. The water actually cools the pump which gives it a much quieter operation. The pump is preset for 26/46. I find that pressure acceptable but if necessary it can be adjusted. There are two negatives. You must support the pipes as the pump won’t support them which can be a problem. Second issue is the instructions are not very good.
