Q:Hi, Can I use this to draw liquid through a large hole at the top of a tank, or does the tank need to be sealed, with this going through a sealed hole? What I mean is, does the tank have to have pressure seal when pumping with this?

        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  The tank does not need to be sealed although operation of the pump would be easier if securely attached to the tank. But it can pump from a tank if unsealed.

So far so good. It is what we needed to use on a 5 gal can of an ink cleaner to help transfer to a smaller spray bottle so that we didn't spill it. We had to cut the tube to fit the 5 gal can so the standard bung size screw in cap was just what we needed.
