I have a floating quartz countertop island between cabinets that will span 58" and will be 34" wide. Are 2 brackets enough to support that kind of weight? Also, how much of an extra run should overflow into each cabinet?
Toto, Yes, 2 of the brackets will be enough for then 34" depth, I would run the front one about 4"-5" from the edge and the same for the back one. Joe
I need support for a 24" x 63" floatng quartz counter top. Back and side wall is sheetrock over block. Other side is a pantry cabinet. Can I use the bridge bracket without going 6" into cabinet or wall? Was planning on using wood cleats on the three side
Tajo, Your only issue is the cleat attachment point being strong enough to hold the stone top. You will probably need some blocking behind the cleat to make it secure if i am understanding this correctly. Joe

How many are needed to support a 60" x 36" laminate countertop above a washer/dryer area?
Oskar, good morning. 2 bridge brackets are sufficient to support a wooden laminate surface. These brackets require support at the ends. If you do not have a way of supporting these bridge brackets, I would recommend our Heavy duty utility bracket 28x16, These you can easily support with 2 along with 2 26" cleats for stability at each end.
