Worked just as I thought it would. Instead of "screwing" it down into the soil I opted to set it in concrete. The u-bolt nuts on 2 of the 8 total stripped out with minimal torque applied so that was a disappointment. Other than that it was easy to anchor md shed

Long/Short: Don't buy these, they are junk. Detailed explanation: After spending hours getting these things into the ground, because they did not want to start actually threading due to the pitch of the spirals, two of them broke about two turns from being fully installed at the welds attaching the spirals. Save your time and money, buy a better product.

Used them to tie down a trampoline. Used a broom stick to screw them into the ground.
We have really stiff clay which makes it very hard to turn as I got deeper. Seems to be a good option, but hasn't been tested yet.

have not yet used the product but it is sturdy and well built and comes with good instructions as well as a wind zone chart. i feel it is a quality product and will do the job here in florida.
