Did not work at all.
In a corner near my front door, I have seen large amounts of rat/ mouse droppings overtime. I initially tried the sprays, which worked for a short period of time but seems like I needed to reapply once a week to keep them away. I bought these fancy glue traps expecting to catch the whole family, but unfortunately I was greatly disappointed the next morning to find one trap empty, and the other completely covered in droppings sans rat.

Works great
Placed trap down and placed a piece of bread in the center to lure the rodent. Within an hour of placing the trap, rat was stuck and couldnt escape. Excellent product, would definitelly use again.

I bought these as well as some old fashioned snap...
I bought these as well as some old fashioned snap traps and set up my night vision camera. I have videos of mice playing slap and tickle on top of the snap traps, eating all the peanut butter off of them while literally walking all over them without them springing... THEN IMMEDIATELY GETTING STUCK IN THESE GLUE TRAPS. If you have rodent problems, don’t waste your money on snap traps and GET THESE. THEY WORK!

Rat got away!
Bought 1 week ago. Heard rat behind entertainment center again. Open package and put one behind Christmas tree next to it. Pulled one end out and pushed other in to encourage rat to go that way. Sat there and waited, about 10mins later had a rat flipping out! In I believe what was 20mins while I was looking for something I could safely remove rat and trap with it got quite too long so left tree skit and rat took off under couch! Other glue trap out and snap trap at each end of entertainment center!
Had my rat, problem was solved, but he got away so problem remains, but terrified and probably harder to catch now!
For mice I could see this working, but I got set that says rat size and says rats on the package on what it works for.

Worked well added to a medium sized live trap.
Before I bought the glue traps, I tried a small live trap I already had, but the rat was not heavy enough to trip the door closing mechanism. So all that happened that evening is I trained the rat where to find big marshmallows. Then I wired a glue trap inside, on the leading edge of the tripping platform, and that worked the first evening. The stuck/struggling rat did trip the door, but also stayed stuck to the glue (likely for about 20 minutes before I noticed). And no worries about a glue trap maybe being dragged along upside down on carpet. (See attached picture.)

Easy to set out
Worked as advertised!
Caught 3 in the first few hours of setting them out on the wall.
I used a couple of dollops of latex caulk to keep the traps in place.
Setting out two more pads this evening.

Works Fast
Caught a rat within 1 hour of placing this glue pad on a fence line that these rats like to take from one yard full of fruit trees to another yard full of fruit trees. The other glue pad remains empty and so does the very expensive rat zapper I also set out.

AN EFFECTIVE MOUSE TRAP....
I used these Tomcat rat traps to trap mice because they're larger than the regular mouse traps, so there's more space for a mouse to get caught. In my opinion, the Tomcat glue trap are very good because the glue is stronger (more sticky!) compared to the other glue traps i've used in the past. And i'm satisfied with the results so far - mice run into it, they get caught and stay caught! Yaay!
But i'm not sure how effective these traps would be against rats. Small ones, okay. But the larger ones, say 7 inches or longer....if that's the size you're dealing with, i would invest in a cat or dog instead!
