Q:When wired to a switch can I turn the light on and off with the switch on the wall or do I need to touch the mirror switch after I turn the wall switch on

A: You can use the switch on the wall to turn on or off the light of the mirror, but this depends on the memory function of the mirror. The light state of the mirror is based on the original state of the mirror and occurs when the switch on the wall is turned on. Memories through the mirror so you don't have to touch the light button

Q:Can be installed hardwire and controlled using the touch switch on the mirror to turn it off and on and remove the switch on the wall? I don't have any switch on the wall, I have a outlet box behind the current mirror. TOOLKISS Classic 40 in. W x 24 in.

A: Yes, this is possible. The buttons on the vanity mirror can only control the light on/off, adjust brightness, and defog. The mirror power cannot be controlled through the mirror button.

I wish the plug was low profile

the mirror is exactly as in the description. if looks great. easy to hang on the wall. I created an extra outlet to be behind the mirror but ended up hard wiring it due to the depth of the plug. To achieve a no-cord appearance, you will need to hard wire the mirror.
