What plunger do you use with this? I have bought two plungers that do not work with this toilet because the opening to the drain at the bottom of the toilet is elongated. The round plungers aren't working because they don't cover the entire hole. Please share which plunger you've successfully used with this!!
Asked by: Sarah
Hello Sarah, There are plungers available that have a bee cone shape to them. These cone shaped plungers will fit into the hole of the Aquia. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to us directly. Our Technical Support team is standing by to take your call. They can be reached at techsupport@toto.com or call 1-888-295-8134 between 8am - 8pm Mon - Fri EST and press 4 when prompted. We also have live chat on the TOTO USA website. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing TOTO.

what is the difference between aquia II and aquia models
Asked by: notaplumber
according to the toto website comparison tool, the only difference is the seat height. the spec sheet shows 17 3/8" for the Aquia "universal" height and 16 5/8" for the Aquia ii "regular height". also make note if you prefer the one piece or two piece configuration and confirm the rough-in distance you'll need (10" or 12"; the distance from the wall to the toilet drain in the floor).

Does this toilet have sanigloss and is the trap fully glazed?

I understand that most Toto toilets come with an easy to clean sanigloss finish. Does the Aquia II 2-piece dual flush toilet that Home Depot sells comes with a sanigloss finish?
Asked by: HomeSweetHome
while the answer to your question is yes I assume you are asking if the toilet is easy to clean. In my experience it is not - I think it is due to the design of the bowl and the weak flush power.

Flushes well, looks sleek, The only complaint is with installing a bidet. I bought a TOTO bidet, so you think it would fit easy. The problem is reaching underneath to screw the hoses from the bidet into the toilet tank. Had to get a special part made and now the hoses stick out and look clumsy taking away from the sleek look (see photos). It was that, or replacing the whole toilet after it was installed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST toilet ever We bought THREE of these during a renovation. They are IMPOSSIBLE to clean. AWAYS stained at the bottom, holes under rim continually clog up, and the design makes it impossible to reach the attachments once it is installed so you can't attach a bidet. HORRIBLE product all round

I am 44 years old and this is the first and only toilet that I have ever owned or used in my living place that leaves "#2" marks everytime you use it. I would have thought the problem was just me but my best friend has the same exact toilet in his guest bathroom and it has "#2" stains anytime his family uses it. The second major issue is that this toilet constantly leaks and neither toto nor the plumber can figure out why. Either the flap is replaced and doesn't leak for 3-6 months then while the fill valve is also replaced and doesn't leak for 3-6 months. Between the two devices inside the tank, it is constantly leaking. I am spending my saturday replacing this with a Delta Foundations from home depot because it got great ratings on consumer reports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ace customer service Had a problem with the flush of a Toilet (416). Dialed the number, pressed one prompt, had a man named Brian on the phone within 30 seconds from when I dialed. He knew the product exactly and walked me through step by step the very simple solution to the issue. Also explained a couple other small adjustments that my plumber had not done.. And a thing that I thought was going to be a pain a take a while was 100% resolved in minutes. And the toilet is absolutely beautiful. Except, with the nicer seat, the lid stays up but the seat does not. Had to change to the lower model seat.

Relatively easy to install (there's few more steps due to the wide porcelain skirt) and more than sufficient flushing power for both liquid and solids so far. Thorough cleaning is made easier with the straight lines of the porcelain skirt. A bit pricier than similar dual flush toilets but worth it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Awkward Design I tried to install a bidet, removing the seat off the bowl, there was no way to access the pluming once installed. It need an experienced plumber. Trying to put back the seat on the bowl, the rubber holders that helps the bolts feel through the holes and there no way we can reach them. Awkward Design at the back, you can't reach up install toilet seat or replace them.

Purchased this toilet because the TOTO web site said it was compatible with the TOTO Washlet. Its turns out you have to buy a $35 adaptor to make it compatible. This toilet also has a very unusual installation, and probably needs a plumber to install it.

I have bought two of these toilets in the past and just replaced the last one in the house. I've been very pleased with this product. Just a couple of complaints: 1) the lid on the tank on this last order came broken, but both Home Depot and the manufacturer were easy to work with and I should have the replacement in just a few days; 2) I wish the bowl were shaped just a little differently, since sometimes requires a bowl cleaning after use. But I like the look and also the ease of dual button flush. Would recommend.
