Does this fit on a 3” belt?

AnswersUnfortunately they don’t. Clips will fit 2 inch belts or smaller but you also have to consider the thickness of the belt, clips won’t lock in place if belt is too thick.
do you make a clip that is one piece rhat will slide over a belt.

AnswersProbably never, they really aren't that great of quality. They have never lasted more than a year for me. And the clips break as well
Why not make tie-wire reels fitted with this attachment?

TOUGHBUILT ClipTech Hub are for their tool belt and pouch products. Its OEM and the clip they provide with their products. These are extra clips that fit over the TOUGHBUILT tool belt and the belt pouch attaches to it. Its all part of their integrated locking system. Not much to say about it, its high quality. I've had my pouch system for over a year and the clip holds up.
What I'll do with these extra clips is put them on my tool wall to attach the pouches when not being used on the belt. They are fine for this and actually have two holes that accept screws to mount them. I even have an open tool bag and drilled a hole in it and put one of my old clips on the side so I don't have to wear the belt around, but can carry it all to the work site attached to the bag. In short, its nice to have a couple of extra clips, inexpensive and they can be mounted just about anyplace.
make sure you have the pouchs, holsters, etc that are designed to go with these. They are no good...
