I was excited to try a pair of knee pads that didnt have straps that cut into the back of my legs. Unfortunately, these pads seem to put unwanted pressure onto the shin. Don't get me wrong there's enough padding to prevent any pressure sores. To me these pads feel like hockey shin and knee guards. They definitely didn't slip down under hours of repetitive motion. I love the amount of padding on the knee.

Painless to be on my knees as a 300lb+ person. 3 days of working on the master bath toilet, removed and replaced the floor and toilet. I keep dreading getting on my knees til I think "Oh wait, no pain!"

Sturdy and very comfortable. Knee pads stay in place over the knee. They don't twist or slide down. You don't have to adjust them after every move you make. The best knee pads I've purchased so far.

These things are terrific and worth every nickel! I'm 70 years old and inherited my mother's bad knees so I was put off at the prospect of having to kneel on concrete to get this project done. Without them I'd be in agony and popping pain pills, but with them I have no pain from from the kneeling. The exterior part that contacts the floor or whatever you're kneeling on is made of hard plastic so your knees get a consistent surface. The plastic is hard enough that I doubt even accidentally kneeling on a nail would penetrate it. I'm not gonna try to though! The inside that comes in contact with your knees is soft of course, but not so soft that you're wiggling around in them. They are a bit "fiddly" to get adjusted right but this is a one-time adjustment your particular build so it's not a big deal. If you plan on spending a lot of time kneeling or have sore knees these are well worth the money. Whoever designed these put some thought into it. Highly recommended.

Best knee pads I've ever worn. I'm a general contractor and I specialize in tile. I've had knee problems my entire life, and since I bought these, it's made my life on the jobsite so much easier! I put them on when I get to the job and don't take them off till I leave! Demo, plumbing, tile, flooring, I just bought my second pair after having owned the first pair for a year, definitely going to continue using these.

I have had these knee pad 4 months. And NO problems. I also have PRO KNEEs which are $300 but are too bulky for crawling in the ceiling at the hospital i work at. I can kneel right on the joist with no discomfort. There is also bump just below the knee which keeps you from sliding off of joist and threw the ceiling.

I recently purchased these knee pads for general use around the house and garden but also for the fact that I am an amateur metal detectorist. My hobbie requires me to do a lot of kneeling which is made even more difficult for me due to the fact that I have arthritic knees. These knee pads have proven to be fantastic for me. Not only do they have the GELFIT pads which are extremely comfortable for me while kneeling, they are also quick and easy to adjust and put on. Most importantly, having weakened knees, I appreciate the extra lateral support they give me between the thigh and knee. I highly recommend these knee pads for anyone with similar knee problems.

I have bad knees at my age, 65, and I wanted to install a click-lock floor by myself. It would mean kneeling as I worked on the floor. That posed a problem. In fact, during the early stages of laying out a few flooring samples, I kneeled without knee pads on my thickly padded carpet, thinking it was enough to pad my vulnerable kneecaps. I was wrong, and my knees hurt for weeks after just a few hours spent kneeling on the floor, fiddling with those samples. I knew that if I did not find a way to kneel without hurting my delicate knees that I would be unable to do the project myself. Of course, I researched on the internet, and quickly discovered kneepads that were considered the top of the line. In truth, I did not personally try the others, which may be just as good, but I did decide to try this pair. I can say without question that they allow me to spend time on my knees without exacerbating my osteoarthritis at all. I have not yet spent full days working in them, and they are only part of the entire system, which includes limiting my time on my knees, and caring for my knees with drugs and therapy. But I can say the kneepads work, and something that clearly would be causing me distress in another circumstance, is now something I can undertake with complete confidence: I can work on my knees. The kneepads might be only one element of a system to keep my knees healthy, but they are an absolutely critical part of the system. One of the secrets is the hinged upper thigh section. When I am kneeling, the thigh section has two rigid straps that hold the kneepad itself in the correct orientation. I have had other, more simple knee pads, and they have tended to rotate off to the side. As I am fully engaged with a project, those other kneepads will rotate off to the side, and it is inconvenient to stop the work to keep readjusting those kneepads. With these, however, the kneepad is firmly held in the correct orientation at all times by the rigid straps, and can never rotate to the side. The kneepad can slip forward or backward slightly, and I find that I often need to make a small adjustment to fit into them perfectly, but that adjustment is easy to make, and often more or less makes itself automatically, as the knee finds its way perfectly into the full cradle of gel padding. Once my knee is in the perfect position within that gel padding, it is firmly held, and safely held. I feel no strain, no sense of hitting a solid floor with my vulnerable knee. Instead, I am floating within the safely confining cushion of gel that seems to surround and support my knee from all directions. Time spent on my knees no longer translates into time spent in pain over the following days. I cannot compare these pads with others I have not tried, but I can say without reservation that these kneepads do an excellent job of protecting my knees and allowing me to kneel without fear of immediate pain or later consequences. I recommend these kneepads without the slightest hesitation or doubt.
