Massive Mouth 16 in. Tool Bag with 38-Pockets in Black

Heavy-duty tool carry bag that seems to be made to last. There are a lot of pockets both on the inside and the outside of the bag. It folds open revealing a very wide mouth that makes it easy to store and retrieve individual tools. I really like that if you open the mouth of the bag all the way it stays in the open position on its own for easy access. It's a little heavier than I thought it would be, but it's well-made and that makes up for that one drawback.

The tool bag material is very sturdy and has four pockets on the outside of the bag. The handles can be band together when the zipper is closed with Velcro. There is a strap with a clasp on the end to keep keys etc., and two hooks in case you want to add a shoulder strap, which is not included. Inside the case there are eight pockets for a total of 12 pockets. Attached to each of the inside pockets are elastic bands. They are nice for holding small things, but aren't very practical if you have a lot of containers or multiple tools inside. The elastic bands are included in the pocket count by the manufacturer of 38 pockets. The elastic bands are just bands, and they are in no way pockets, this is misleading. The bag sides can be kept upright by two sturdy inside rigid flaps with Velcro trim. If you want to fold the bag down, fold these flaps down and the sides of the bag will not be held upright. The manufacturer also claims that the tool bag is lockable, but it can be easily cut to open the zipper and access to the inside of the tool bag. I found the large opening to be ideal for storing battery operated tools such as a drill driver, jig saw, nailer or maybe a circular saw including the associated batteries and battery charger. It is also ideal for storing various hand tools and miscellaneous hardware.

The bag is awesome and great quality for the most part. Only issue I have is there is 2 zipper nylon pockets on inside that both ripped through on the first week of use. The material used for the 2 zipper pockets isn't durable at all. The rest of the bag is great.

So many features in this one bag! Huge wide opening supported by a metal interior frame, lots of pockets inside for organization of small items, tools, pens and a notebook pocket as well. It also has these amazing rubber feet that will make it stay put in your truck bed. 38 total pockets and loop ! The mouth of this bag opens so wide that you should be able to find anything in there with ease. So many uses from tools, to barn medical kit to musical equipment or hobby stuff. We definitely will need a couple of more of these. The bright color makes it easy to pick out too and it has a lockable zipper.

I received the bag for product review and have had for one week. It was compressed in size due to shipping. I found that if you open the bag and bring up the folding side panels from the bottom and leave them secured against the Velcro for 24 hours the bag will keep its shape. The bag is made of very sturdy canvas and has durable rubber feet. The zipper is lockable once closed, it may take some adjustment but a lock can be attached. With 8 internal small side pockets and 4 external, not counting the large 6" by 16" internal main cavity, there is lots of storage. I was surprised there was no shoulder strap included. Based on the probable weight and width of bag it may be awkward if used. There are hooks if you wish to go this route. Overall this bag holds a lot, so it's possible due to its size, to overload yourself with your items, depending on weight.

Very well made! Call it 16 X 10 X 8 zipped shut. Got this to replace an orange tool box that I used for a cordless drill. As my battery powered tools expanded / changed, I got tired of playing 'tool Tetris'. This tool bag is big enough for my cordless drill, 3 1/2" circular saw, driver, charger, and pair of battery packs. I normally don't carry square on the outer clip, or flat in the bottom. Just for pictures to judge size. There are internal pockets to hold the plastic boxes with driver bits and the plastic drill bit box and boxes of various fasteners and stuff. There are 8 internal pockets, 4 on each of the long internal side. There are 4 more on the outside on the long side. They include stretchy loops around the pockets, if you need to attach something small or with a clip. The triangular 'Delta loops' are aluminum on diagonal edges if you need to use a shoulder strap, and well anchored. Handles are traditional Velcro overlap. Hard plastic on the bottom and the short sides provide protection. Lots of well attached places to attach a carbine or 's-link' quick connects for keys or other gear.

TOUGHBUILT 16" Massive Mouth is a heavy duty tool bag that will meet your every need. As with all TOUGHBUILT bags, construction is superb; pockets are everywhere; and the materials top notch. You can carry it with the handles or the provided strap. The rigid side panels allow the bag to have its ultra wide mouth, with these flaps down the bag will fully collapse for storage or transport. The heavy duty zipper can be locked so the bag is not accessed; the rubber feet give it non-slip on an incline and raise it slightly off the work surface. For me, this bag will serve as my permanent storage site for DeWa__ 7-1/4" Cordless wormdrive saw. It fits perfect, the 20" Massive Mouth would give you some excess storage in there, but for me this bag actually affords protection to the saw. Since most manufacturers are moving away from hard cases (which I think you need to protect expensive tools), these TOUGHBUILT Massive Mouth bags can serve as reasonable protection at a fair price. Yes, I've used these TOUGHBUILT Massive Mouth bags to store and transport lots of tools and parts in all those compartments, but in this usage I have decent protection for am expensive power tool. There is a hook & loop connector for the floor panel. You can open that side of the floor's bag and slide a few important papers in there, safely out of harms way.

Love the large mouth and space, strong zip, perfect size

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. Perfect size for him and he likes that it opens wide so he can see what's inside.
