Sullivan 1-Light Black/Wood Tone Rustic Farmhouse Wall Sconce

We are so pleased with the True Fine Sullivan Wall Sconce which has certainly updated our older bathroom. It was extremely easy to install with the simple included instructions. The fixture requires a single bulb which will need to be purchased separately. Care should be taken in the selection of a bulb as it is extremely visible and a focal point in the design. The juxtaposition of the light black open metal rectangular box within a wood toned rectangular metal frame creates a striking modern/ farmhouse feel. The absence of glass panels makes this sconce unique and attractive.

This is a very stylish fixture and I have not found anything quite like it before – until now. It’s made of metal and faux wood but the wood looks quite real. Faux wood would always be my first choice anyway because real wood might actually overheat and become hazardous. At its largest points, the fixture measures approximately 14.50 inches high, x 7.00 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. When I tool it out of the box, I was thinking that this would have an ultra-modern look if painted black, white or satin. A person could use any incandescent or LED bulb of their choice but given the “as-shipped” design, I think that an Edison bulb would be the most appropriate choice. If it was painted, the perhaps round frosted or tubular fronted bulbs would look better. On the back of the fixture, is a universal mounting bracket. The wiring is very straight-forward with the standard black (line), white (neutral) and bare copper (ground). Very simple to mount!

Nice looking but it has the dimmest light. Impossible to make brighter

I was very pleased with the style. Unfortunately, the size was a little larger than I could use and I returned it to the store.

Extremely well build and designed. Easy to clean and mount. Durable and simple design. Well recommended!
