This is really a great question Home Depot customer E562 as minor things like bird droppings or other relatively superficial "blemishes" can bond with the vehicle's paint surface. Of course, one should thoroughly and carefully wash and dry their vehicle first and, in addition, I believe that it is suggested not to apply this Turtle Wax Express Shine Carnauba Wax on an extremely hot day. Although this product does not have the "abrasive" qualities such as vehicle surface paint restoration products like rubbing compound (most abrasive!) and polishing compound (less abrasive than rubbing compound) I have found that this great liquid spray wax can remove spots or marks such as you have described within the body of your question. Again, make sure any accumulated dirt, etc. is removed first and use microfiber cleaning cloths for application and removal of this product--the type of microfiber cloths used for cleaning vehicles and other large jobs. They are available in multi-packs for a nominal fee and they are safe to wash and dry with this product. I clean, dry, and re-use these microfiber cloths quite often.

This product contains silicone polymers.
I began driving in the year 1973 and I began doing basic vehicle maintenance such as exterior waxing, etc. prior to that on my parent's vehicles. The way to go back then was to use paste wax products and if you told me that a liquid spray wax would have produced even better results I would have doubted anyone; however, I have been using this Turtle Wax Express Shine Carnauba Wax product for years now and, in addition, I always park my vehicle outdoors and my vehicle holds its shine for a very long time--relatively speaking. In fact, after weeks of applying this liquid spray wax product, the paint surfaces still look shiny--like glass! Although sources indicate that it is not necessary to apply this wax following each wash, I do anyway. It has been over 2 years since you submitted your question Home Depot customer Bill; however, it's great that you did as I am sure that a lot of others considering using this product would like to know about the lasting qualities of the shine as a result of applying this product.
