Useless
Bought these in 2 3/4 inch to attach a 2 x4 to my concrete garage floor. I even predrilled holes in the concrete so they would go in easier. I tried securing 6 tapcon screws and all 6 twisted off leaving metal sticking out of the floor. Had to wreck my concrete to get the broken screws out and then fill the damaged areas with concrete patck. THANKS TAPCON.

    post install on concrete
    I used these to install posts for vinyl fencing on top of concrete to anchor the posts in place utilizing one in each corner

      I only needed three to anchor a sill plate for an entry door on a concrete slab but you never know when you might need more so I got the 8-pack. They did a good job of holding the sill plate down in a medium traffic area. The catch with these is that they're a one time shot and can't be moved after installation (and be expected to hold the second time).
