Not performing as it should be!!
Got this to drill 8 holes on tile/ concrete to install a handrail for my stair with 1/4 in. x 3-1/4 in. Hex-Washer-Head Concrete Anchors as recommended. About the 4th holes with my hammer drill, the bit tip is completely gone, had to go get another one to finish the job, the 2nd bit didn't work well when I get to the 8th hole. Finally get all 8 holes drill, clean the holes with compressed air, try to install the screw, but it was so tight that I can barely screw it in about 1-1/2", and when I try to go further, it cracked my porch tile!! Now I need to find a way to make the holes a bit wider in order to fit the screws without further damage my porch's tile!!

This drill bit did the job I purchased a cement block and wanted to keep a cactus statue on it. I drilled through the cement with this proper drill bit. It gets hot due to friction so let it cool between holes. Worked great!

        not worth it
dull dull dull. spent 15 minutes trying to go through brick with it. Gave up and got another brand bit. Finished the first hole and did a second hole in literally seconds. This bit is a waste of money.

MUST use a Hammer drill for this item and drill slowly, over speeding the drill WILL snap the bit. Drilling into an old concrete stoop with a lot of stone in it, found that if the drill bit does not progress after 30-45 - secs, try a different spot.

                                  DIY window shutter install.
this bit made it possible for me to quickly mount my new window shutters on the exterior brick surface of my home. Accurate hole size is key to the application of the Tapcon fastener. Too small and one breaks the fastener. Too large and my shutters blow away in the wind. This puppy is the correct bit for the 1/4" Tapcon fastener.

using this to bore into concrete stoop (to attach 2x4's laying flat via Tapcon concrete screws). Drill bit works well IF using a 'hammer drill'. Take your time and don't run the drill at full speed or you may overheat the bit and snap it. Should work very well in regular poured concrete but challenges with old style aggregate concrete that has many stones / pebbles in it. TIP: if you are drilling and hit a stone and the bit ceases penetration, CEASE and try again an inch or so away in a different spot. I snapped a bit and also a few Tapcon screws when trying to get through what must have been a very tough pebble / stone a few inches within the cement. Redrilled about 1" away and went well (after <1 min of drilling). BE PREPARED TO BUY SEVERAL BITS if doing an average sized project.
