Much easier to use over the Plastic C Shape type...
Much easier to use over the Plastic C Shape type tool. It takes a fair amount of force to squeeze the Tool when it is New once it gets used a fair amount of time it gets easier.

Fittings were always impossible for me to remove, until I purchased this tool. I never had enough hand strength to use the small tools that come with the fittings. I now use this tool, along with a large tongue and groove pliers for leverage. Tightening the tool with the pliers is the trick for me. The fittings slip right off. It works great!

Does not work that well / hard to use with all kinds of valve fittings -- better off with a simple disconnect clip.

After having difficulty using this item, I decided to return it (and the 3/4" Tong). The design would not allow me to disconnect the Push Fitting, it would not push in the part that is to disengage the fitting. This tool was a little to stiff and hard to squeeze to make it work. I had better results using the Orange slip-on removal tool, which I was trying to up grade from.
