To kill common household ants, simply place TERRO Liquid Ant Baits stations near indoor areas where ants are spotted. Ants enter the trap, consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass on the bait to the rest of the colony. These baits are specifically formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product, survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony. The liquid ant bait stations prevent the bait from drying out and provide the ants with a continuous supply of liquid, day and night. Monitor the baits regularly for activity, but do not interfere with the ants or baits. Replace with additional baits when the first set is depleted. Depending on the size of the ant infestation, complete control may take up to two weeks.

Normally how long does it take for the ants to disappear?

I have used this for a week, and the ants are still coming in, and even gets worse today.

Same here - except that the ants just ignored the bait. A few went into the containers and drowned. The rest crawl over it. Useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been using this product for years. It's the only product I've found that works. My only pr... I've been using this product for years. It's the only product I've found that works. My only problem is that I have to keep refilling them to keep the ants under control. When I first place it down....hundreds of ants start trailing it back to their nest...eventually killing them. But 2 days later a new group shows up and the process starts all over again. I'm on my 4th bottle of bait....and a month of watching a trail of ants from my bar countertop to a tiny hole in the ceiling. I should be a salesman for the company. Every time I'm at Home Depot...I usually convince a half dozen customers to try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's lunch time. Bring all you ants and uncles. It was disappointing at first until one ant got a taste then it was a sea of ants coming from all over to feed the queen. I got both the liquid and bate station and they both work well. I hate ants and its been 12hours and they are still working hard to satisfy their queen and so am I.

I only ever saw about 20 or so at a time, usually just in a line or small swarm against a wall, but they got bold enough to get up on my countertops, so they had to go. Between three of these (placed along visible and trails like the instructions said to do) and some repellent spray around the foundation, all the ants were either dead or gone in about 2 days. I haven't seen any ants at all in the house since I put them down. All I can say is be careful handing them. The poison goo inside the packets is a sticky mess, and it's not fun to clean up.

Tried the vinegar didn't work, tried the cinnamon work for a few days. Was at Home Depot to pick up some stuff saw this, never knew they had borax in liquid form. End result the colony was gone in less than a week. I felt kind of bad that I committed genocide towards a entire colony of ants, but it's either them or me. FYI u will see a lot, I mean alot of ants in the beginning few days, that's actually optiminal to get rid of the colony quicker

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I bought them based on reviews. Which were mostly good. I've had the baits set out for sugar ants. It's been around a month now. They work! At first the ants will be all over them, almost like they are trying to build a nest in it. Then a couple days later. They were gone. I only have a stray lost one every other day or so wondering around. But, nothing like it was.

Baiting ants is the only way to control them. Using an ant spray will make you fell good and kill all the ants you see but to elimanate the colonly you need to use a bait.

I used to make homemade ant bait that included borax because it was the only thing that worked getting rid of ants and keeping them gone. Then we found this product that uses the borax as part of it's ingredients and had to try it. It worked so well and it's easier to use! You HAVE to make sure to let the ants walk around and take the bait back to their home. Don't squish the ants or the process won't work. Anyone I know who has ant issues (new ants often come back every year), I will get them this product and they all are amazed how well it works! Two different friends even had exterminators come out and spray to get rid of ants which didn't work, even after more than a month. However, when they tried these Terro ant baits, it worked every time! Using these Terro ant baits, it typically takes 2 days for ants to be completely gone (I usually leave baits out an extra day or so just to be sure.) THESE ARE THE BEST BY FAR! I never write reviews, but I am so happy with these products - and have been using them for years- I want to tell/help everyone else!

Within a few hours they were already disappearing from sight, and by morning time there were no more ants anywhere!
