Does not fit new BEHR one gallon paint cans with black plastic lids
This was a great product before BEHR decided to transition their one gallon paint cans from the traditional decades old metal paint can with metal lid. The new paint cans that have the black plastic lid and black plastic rim around the can are a little wider and this product will not fit them. Caveat Emptor. Currently you can find both style cans in a given store for the exact same paint base. Once the transition to the new cans is complete, these lids will be obsolete with respect to BEHR one gallon paint cans. They may however still fit competitor's one gallon paint cans. The new plastic rim on the new cans may make it difficult to develop a similar product that works as well on the new style cans.

Paint Lid
Easy to use, easy to clean, saves time! The con is that it's not available in our nearby store. A must for anyone doing any painting around the house!

Best painting tool ever!
The Super Lid is the most versatile, practical and inexpensive painting tool ever. You can pour the paint through the spout, flip up the lid and paint right from the can without drips or a rim full of paint. Cleaning it is a breeze. I have two that I've used for several years and there's no wear and tear. They work as well today as the day I got them.

Fantastic Invention, I just wish I knew about it sooner.
Makes using a gallon of so super easy. I'd gladly pay double for this item. Although it states its not for permanent storage, I accidentally left mine on overnight and returned to still wet paint on the bottom of the lid that was easily cleaned off just by running hot water over it in the sink. That said, I still would not use it for permanent storage, but it obviously okay for several hours. I love this lid.

Great Product!
Great product - wouldn't use paint from a 1-gallon can without. It prevents paint build-up in the groove around the can rim so the original metal lid can be easily put back on and will seal properly after the job is done. Paint can be poured from the 2-piece lid spout with no runs down the side of the can. The top piece is removed for brush painting and put back on to reseal the can during breaks. The plastic lid is easily cleaned because the paint doesn't adhere to it very well.

Greatest invention since paint.
I just purchased an Aqua-Tainer Super Lid -- it is the greatest invention since paint!! This Super Lid makes the entire painting process much, much easier and neater. Don't know when it was invented, but now that we have it, I don't think anyone should be without one.
