Could you please clarify load capacity? Website says up to 80 lbs, product ad says 65 lbs, and under specifications it says 50 lbs. Which is it? Thanks.

I made sure I mounted the rack into a wall stud in my garage. It holds two bikes and gear no problem. I have put lot of my weight on it after I installed to be sure it would hold up since it is mounted right next to my car. I could pull my self up from the floor. It will hold 80 lbs if mounted correctly and into wall studs. I no longer have the original instruction but it seems to me they rate the weight if you would mount into drywall with the system provided. Then the issue is how well the drywall will hold up if more weight then 65lbs is added.

Possible to mount up on ceiling?

I have a Portable x-ray machine that I must hold 36 inches above the animal when taking the picture. It is approx. 40 lb which makes it difficult to do all the time. So, I am looking for a way to be able to just hang it from the ceiling when I need to use it. When I am not using it, it would be in its case. So it would only be hanging from the ceiling from time to time for about 5 to 10 minutes at a time. I should also mention that the ceiling is a drop ceiling. Any ideas on if this would work or not? Thanks for any answer you can come up with for me.

No. This would not mount on the ceiling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not the right shelf Product is good and nicely made, but they replaced the old model with a different one that the shelf is not rectangular, but triangular. That makes it smaller. Even stranger, the box still showed the old picture, which was misleading when I ordered.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nicely built Bike rack. Holds two 28lb full suspension mountain bikes This rack held my Trek Slash and my friend's Spesh Enduro without a problem. I originally got it because the bar on my bike is too wide for a lot of cheaper models. I like that it has nice soft cushioning on the bars that contact your bike frame. I also like that it isn't black. It's painted a nice silver color that doesn't contrast as badly on the light beige color walls in my garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfectly THe product was exactly what I expected from the ad. It hung easily, and holds two bikes comfortably (had to hang them in opposite directions).
