Does this feather topper require daily fluffing or only refluffing when changing the sheets?

AnswersThe feathers compress almost immediately under your body weight, leaving a firm but very comfortable sleeping surface. When fluffed, you sink in when you first climb into bed and it feels wonderful. I fluff mine every day before I make the bed, because I like that initial puffy cloud-like feeling. It is still VERY comfortable even without daily fluffing, just flatter and firmer than you might expect. I make my bed by putting a fitted sheet on the regular mattress, then a second fitted sheet with the edges tucked under the feather topper. This way it is very easy to fluff. The topper stays on the bed with no issues (I've never had it shift or slide off the mattress).
Down pillows can retain heat and become uncomfortably hot, especially in warm weather. Does this...

AnswersMy husband and I both "sleep hot". We have this topper and find it very comfortable. We have tried numerous memory foam pads, and they are always uncomfortably hot and make us sweat (yuck). We sleep with this feather bed and a lightweight down comforter at night, and feel the down topper regulates to our body temperatures.

I have been suffering from back pain shortly after getting out of bed for many years . I have tried sleeping on hard mattress, Futon, memory foam padding etc. with no relief. Then I have been sleeping on this 4" down filled mattress topper for few days and have not been waking up with back pain. I was feeling so good after one night of use that I was going to write the review after one time use but decided to wait for few days of use. And, yes it has been great as no back pain. Perhaps because it keeps your muscles warm and provides support to your spine during the night. No more twisting and turning several times at night. It sort of hugs to your body. This product is assembled here in the USA using hypoallergenic blend of 95% white goose feathers and 5% white goose down fill. It comes with a lifetime warranty. Simply spot clean - do not dry clean or wash in machine. You would love it.

Feathers coming out
It's nice and soft but feathers poking you all night and keeping you awake is not what I really wanted. I even covered it with thick mattress protector but that didn't help at all. I wish I could return it to the store but unfortunately I didn't save the packaging it came in.
