Finally received my ivory queen comforter/blanket, but it was a substitution of the anti-allergy one versus the goose down. That's probably for the best, as this is for my guest room and many guests have allergies. The cover is a beautiful tone-on-tone stripe. My biggest challenge was getting the blanket into the duvet cover. And I'm still uncertain how to maintain the alignment of the cover with the blanket. The cover has tie strings inside for attaching to the comforter corners, but there is no buttonhole or loop for attaching. I likely will need to sew in loops for tying it together. A comforter/duvet adds a luxury touch to a guest room, so I'm pleased to add this combination for my visitors. This guest room is on the cooler end of our home, but my guests are comfy and toasty in their bed! Still difficult to make the bed and to keep a smooth view.

Second time reviewing this Product, I am not reviewing the Goose Down Blanket, we where sent a down alternative blanket. Just for the reason I did not give it Five Stars across the board. This was MADE IN AMERICA, and it shows. My wife says the quality of workmanship is stellar and rewarding to see. WE have used it since arrival, and it does it job, close to what a down can do. If your not familiar with this company, like I was, take the time to look them up, stellar products.

This is The Company Store’s Legends Damask Stripe PrimaLoft Deluxe Down Alternative Ivory Queen Blanket (see Photos 1 and 2 for the package labels). I was originally supposed to receive the goose down blanket but it was not available in a queen size, so I thought we’d go ahead and try the PrimaLoft, down Alternative version. The blanket has a 400-thread count cotton shell with 8 inch diamond quilt stitching to keep things in place (see Photo 3). We typically use 3 layers when sleeping, first is the top sheet, then a blanket, followed by a comforter. We replaced our single-layer cotton blanket (which wasn’t particularly thick, but was pretty heavy) with the PrimaLoft blanket. The next morning, both my wife and I used the same word to describe the experience—cozy. The new blanket felt like it conformed to our bodies and kept us nice and warm, and importantly, not too hot. Overall, we are quite pleased with the blanket. The only downside is that it clearly states that it’s dry clean only. It also has a lifetime guarantee (according to the description on The Home Depot website).

OK, we needed a new comforter, the Company Store brand made it an easy decision. It is everything i expected, quality materials, well made and stylish. the fabric is very high quality and very soft, the down fill is nice and fluffy and you can feel how warm it is. it looks great on the bed. i took some full pictures as well as a few close ups. we are very happy with it.

This blanket is a good addition to our bedding. It keeps you warm but not to warm. It fits our bed great where other blankets are usually to short on the sides and you can't get fully covered up unless you sleep in the middle of the bed. It's lightweight. The blanket has the texture of a sheet. It's slightly fluffy. I wish that it was not dry clean only. I would rather have a blanket that is machine washable. It's a lot more convenient to be able to wash it in your washer with the rest of your bedding than to have to take that one item to a dry cleaner.

They were out of this one and offered me a different blanket I took the King for my bed and let me just say the down blanket is one of the nicest blankets I have slept with, it keeps me warm and it seeems to have a little more weight then the one I had before. Yet it is still a lite blanket. It looks extremly nice and feels so soft I am truely happy with the blanket.

What is cosier that a goose down blanket? I love this comforter, it has a beautiful ivory on ivory stripe that is subtle. The blanket is lightweight, but warming power is heavyweight. Fits a queen size bed nicely, and standard queen size duvet covers. I like that is can be stored in a space bag and takes up little room in the linen closet, but when you take it out it fluffs up nicely. Really please with this blanket.

I got this Legends damask stripe goose down queen blanket in ivory for the spare bedroom bed. I figured since it is down filled that it would be a good blanket for all seasons. It is light weight but because of the down it is actually warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Before we put it on the spare bed I had it in the living room on the couch. It isn't a lounging blanket because it isn't cozy or soft. I did notice that after a couple of days there were a few feather pieces on the couch so the blanket will lose feathers. Finally, the blanket is dry clean only.
